We went for our first Sunday brunch today and everything was excellent! The service was attentive and cordial. The food was exactly as described and of excellent quality! We’ll definitely have to shop this again!

A very lovely spot downtown Martinsville. If you are looking for a delicious and fresh meal in a modern atmosphere, this is the place. Our waitress did a fantastic job. Service was quick and with a smile. Well done decor inside.

My opinion only, what a shame this place could be. Start off they were out of the wine my wife wanted. Our server took our order. We ordered the fish and chips with coleslaw. When brought to the table she said I forgot to tell you we were out of slaw I said you are kidding me. She just said sorry. The fish plate is 21.00 with two fish filets and fries. The fries were cold and she held one to see that they were. She asked if we wanted new ones but the fish would be cold by then. What a disaster. The 8 top next to us had so many issues. There response to all the mistakes were a free desert that we declined. We need to say the only things I would change is the food management and the manager on the floor that never showed they face and apologized for this situation. We will never return.

We made reservations for the monthly Sunday brunch. Our table was set and ready for us at arrival. Our Server greeted us quickly to take our drink order. Everyone was very pleased with their food, drinks and service!! We can’t wait for our reservations at the Chef’s table later this month for Date Night!

I just stopped in for lunch at this hidden classy gem on the town square in Martinsville. W.O.W. The restaurant features beautiful exposed brick, industrial lighting, arched doorways, and hardwood floors. There is even a room available to reserve for large parties that have sliding barn doors for privacy. The bar offers an extensive list of both classic and seasonal cocktails (aka “Giggle Water”). The seasonal hot totties sound amazing, but I didn’t sample them since it was the middle of a work day. Side note #1… there is no wi-fi offered, and I think the building was interfering with my Verizon hot spot reception. I was really excited to see that there are power outlets available every few feet so I could plug in my tablet though.

The lunch menu is available 11am-3pm. Entrees are offered 3p-Close. I ordered the grilled goat cheese, provolone, red onion jam & arugula sandwhich w Roasted tomato soup. They offer Coke products, hot and flavored tea, milk, coffee, lemonade, juice (apple, cranberry, and orange). I am a huge fan of tomato soup and this may be my new favorite!! It was full of flavor and had a fresh pureed texture. Highly recommend!!! The grilled cheese was equally flavorful without being overpowered by the red onion jam. Even though the red onions were prevalent, their sweetness took away any chance of onion breath. The prices are very reasonable, and I’m surprised they don’t charge more. They turned down the lights at 3pm on the dot, maybe to signal the change in menu.

Overall, I will absolutely be back and I’ll be bringing friends and family with me next time. We’ve live in Martinsville for years thinking we had to go to Indy for something like this. How convenient that we have now found fine dining in Martinsville only 15 minutes from home!!

Side note #2… I used Google maps to get here, but it kept taking my to the wrong side of the town square. I just did a lap around the square and found it on the same side as the probation office. Plenty of free parking is available on the street.

Delicious tacos and burger. Would suggest to server and host to know their menu and its contents. Would say since they just opened its understandable but given the simplicity of the menu no excuse. Will adjust review after next visit.

Great bistro food – worth a drive from Bloomington. The Cuban sandwich and Wagyu burger were both excellent! And the truffle parmesean fries were the best I have had in a long time – double fried, it seemed, with a perfect crunch. Surprisingly good restaurant.

Lovely place for a first date: beautiful setting, delicious food and an ample beer & wine offering.

SETTING
When you walk in, the first thing you’ll see is a gorgeous, fully stocked bar with seating. Through the doorway to the left is the dining area with booths as well as tables.

FOOD
I ordered the herb chicken sanwich with a side of asparagus. The asparagus was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The flavor of the sandwich was savory and the chicken was juicy and not overcooked.

SERVICE
Our waiter was friendly and efficient. He was also great at describing the specials for the day and the flavor of a mixed drink I was considering.

I’m head over heels with the beet soup!!! It’s nice to be able to walk to a Martinsville restaurant where there is something other than “fried” on the menu. On this visit, the seasonal vegetable was green beans, which I am allergic to. The owner (?) said she would see if there might be something else in the kitchen. There was! I enjoyed perfectly cooked zucchini along with my entree. The desert was awesome as always.
