I ordered a few dishes to try, and everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful. The portions were generous, and the ingredients tasted very fresh.
What I love most about Hung Ky is how authentic and consistent the food is. You can really tell the chefs take pride in what they serve. The menu has a great variety of rice plates, noodle soups, and stir-fried dishes, so there’s something for everyone.
Food came out quicker than what it took us to sit down!
Kitchen missed an item we ordered, management fixed it promptly upon finding out.
Delicious and seems consistent, will come back again
We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!
We had the egg rolls and dumplings to start with which were both good.
I had the chief special beef chunks which was super tender and flavorful. My wife had a vermicelli bowl bowl which she enjoyed.
We ended it with a mix up on Vietnamese coffees to go. The waiter kept asking me if I wanted milk in the coffee and I kept saying that I wanted the condensed milk but not normal milk. We felt like we end the conversation with different expectations and sure enough we got black coffee, not a big deal we took them home and fixed them up. But FYI the condensed milk is refered to as milk.
I had the pan fried flat noodles, which had a different texture than anything I’ve had before. My son recommends the tangy orange chicken!
The service is incredibly friendly and kind. The food is top notch and came out super fast even when we were the second large table in the restaurant.
We ordered:
– mayonnaise shrimp (does come with cashews so beware if you have a nut allergy)
– garlic fried lobster
– wonton soup
– banh bot chien
– crab rangoons
– pork and shrimp spring rolls
– general tso chicken
– sweet and sour chicken
– com thit nuong bi cha (the ultimate vietnamese rice dish! It has grilled pork, shredded pork skin and and egg loaf)
– vermicelli with thit nuong bi cha gio (grilled pork, shredded pork skin and egg roll)
Everything was so good! We have only ordered to go from here and today was the first time we ate at the restaurant. It was very worth it!
