I got the Boneless Spare Ribs dinner combination with pork fried rice and an egg role. I would say regarding the price and portion of the food I really can’t complain at all…plate looks visually great just wasn’t as flavorful as my go to place and the meat was a little bit tougher. But again for the price can’t beat it. I personally will keep going to my old spot for the boneless spare ribs at least but pls do not hesitate to try other things! I’m from NYC so I like my Chinese food a particular way lol

I used to shop at this China Star way back when I was in Middle School and they used to fill the trey up but now they don’t even fill it up it’s barely filled over halfway when I order my boneless spare ribs I expect to it to be just like how it was back in the day and they have changed ever since they sold the company to these new people. I’m never going back to this China place again this is my second time of recent and both times they’ve jipped me out of my ribs. Why would you play with my money like that? You give me less because it’s the lunch time special? Or what about last time when it was lunchtime special and you still made me pay the full price and I didn’t realize until like a day or two later. I gave you guys a second chance now and you messed it up I’m never coming back to you ever again …

OPENED DURING HURRICANE CALL FIRST! FIVE STARS. Hard working family restaurant. The FOOD is delicious. They open on holidays so you can enjoy their delicious cuisine. Prices are good. I love the wonton soup and beef broccoli, tasty fried wonton! THE BEST IN THE AREA! Humble establishment, but your taste buds will come back for more cause I love their FOOD. YUM YUM YUMMY! Ordered the chicken lo mein I DO NOT recommend. The chicken is extremely under cooked and squiggly, it freaked me out honestly. My daughter thought it was an onion. If I did not place this order through uber and if I felt like driving I would have taken it back. We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken and that I will say was pretty good. Some of my pieces of chicken were fried hard but hey I’d rather it be cooked than under cooked! The egg rolls were perfectly fried. Needless to say I will return I just will never order the chicken lo mein.

I recently tried ChinaStar and I have to say, I was blown away. The shrimp fried rice was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of seasoning. The General Tso’s chicken was crispy and flavorful with an hint of spice which I personally enjoyed, and the crab Rangoons were the perfect blend of creamy and savory. I’m already looking forward to my next order from this restaurant!
The quality of the food was exceptional and I was impressed with how fresh everything tasted. The portions were also very generous, so I definitely felt like I got my money’s worth. First time here. The food was good and not heavy. The best part was that the food wasn’t greasy. The staff were friendly and environment was cleaned which was really nice to see. I will go back to try new items. The ordering online made it quick and efficient. It also gave you a pick up time.

China Star never disappoints! Their fried special rice is my absolute favorite; flavorful, perfectly cooked, and packed with fresh ingredients. I also love their broccoli and steak, crispy and tasty egg rolls, and sweet and sour chicken. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always friendly and attentive. This is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving great Chinese food!

Edit: was originally 3 stars, they charged me EVEN MORE this time after i specifically stated i didnt get enough chicken the last time despite paying for EXTRA CHICKEN, look at the picture. What a joke. Paid even more for extra chicken this time and its non existent. Egg roll, old as hell AGAIN! not coming back. tired of these chinese restaurants just overcharging me for nothing
