Service was great. Food was pretty good also. I’ve only had the rotisserie chicken, plantains, and beans. Plantains were amazing, beans good, but the chicken was on the salty side. It taste good but if you got blood pressure or watch your your sodium, tread lightly. They have a really nice menu also. I can’t wait to try something other dishes. I recommend.

The chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly, definitely a highlight of the meal. The sides (plantains and fried rice) were also fantastic. The staff were friendly and nice. The atmosphere was a bit warm, and I noticed that the air circulation could be improved, which made the wait a little uncomfortable at times. Speaking of wait times, it was a bit long, but overall, the delicious food made up for it.

I have been getting Peruvian food from here regularly since they opened years ago and when I tell you this place doesn’t miss, THEY DON’T MISS!!! They seriously have the best Peruvian chicken in town!!! Always consistent quality and flavor. 10/10 recommend!!! The owners are great people too. I am happy to support and will continue to do so. Also, get the cookies if they have them. I tried one today and it was incredible. Thank you El Pico de Oro family! See you again soon!

Original review (after 2 visits for lunch): A hole in the wall in all the right ways. Prices are great. Portions are great. Flavor is phenomenal. I hope they don’t change a thing!
Update: Took the wife and kids in for dinner tonight. Ordered the family meal and it did not disappoint. Owner’s, again, we’re super nice. Apologized for the lack of ice but brought out cups and our 2 liter (comes with the family meal) had obviously been in the fridge. Even though the family meal is “a whole chicken” (plus sides and a 2L), they had no problem quartering it for us. I will definitely be going back!
PS: Please remember that this is a small business and they close at 7:00 PM. They did not rush us out at all even though it was just after 7:00 as we we’re wrapping up, but I’m sorry we kept them from cleaning up and getting home! 🙂

Got the family combo to go with yucca fries and plantains – everything was hot and fresh and the sauces paired excellent with the food. Staff was very courteous and friendly and was correct in saying I will be back! Give them a try – the family combo is a great meal at a great price for what you get

This place is empty for a reason. CHEAP!!!!!
The food portions is more rice than protein. Maybe 6 pieces of beef max for the lomo saltado.
You want sauce?? Pay extra!!
You want forks? You get 1! Then get pissed if you want more.
You want semi decent peruvian food go to Cholos its down the street. You’ll get corn in a mini cup free
2 types of sauces.
They’re a little slow too but way better customer service than this place

I was not expecting much in a last minute restaurant choice….BUT LET ME TELL YOU THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! I tried the beef heart, 1/4 chicken and french fries with hot dogs. Every bite brought a wave of flavors and emotions! I may even ask if they have someone in the family that’s single looking for a man

Let me preface with….I don’t write reviews…. This is buy FAR the best chicken in town. The green sauce is FIRE…. I go here at least 3 times a month. And we catered it for our Christmas party. It is and will always be a fan favorite!!

I had seen this place for a while and decided to give it a try a month ago. The chicken is absolutely fantastic. I love getting the arroz chaufa and the maduros as sides. I am glad this place is around. Only issue is the A/C is not working so dining in right now is a chore in this heat. Perhaps I’ll try their other dishes down the line.
