Not sure what’s going on exactly, I really hope this business does well, but the food and service quality is lacking. It used to be the place to go, lineups just to get in, excellent food and service. You can tell things have changed, Friday at supper time had only 2 or 3 tables of customers. Prices were good for the quantity of food for the combo items.

I had the meal for one and was slightly disappointed with the meal and available choices. As I single person, I too crave variety in my meals.
The food here is consistently tasty and well prepared. Thus the four-star reviews. I have been in the kitchen here and can testify to its cleanliness and their food preparation procedures. Very impressive compared to other kitchens I have been in. I will no doubt continue to use this as a source for Asian foods as long as the ownership continues

I hadn’t eaten here since I ordered takeout back in 2021, and ate at all 237 eateries within Vernon city limits.
It was time to cycle back here for a dine in experience. The house combo was $31 after tax and 15 percent tip (it was $25.99 originally). The plate was more hefty than I was expected. It contains chow mein or rice, chicken balls, sweet and sour pork, sesame chicken, and vegetable chop suey.
The decor was better than I anticipated and two large screen televisions.
The server was friendly and hilarious.
Overall I really enjoyed my dine in experience here.
I wish the chop suey had more mushrooms and corn.
The chicken balls were fantastic.
The flavour was great with the remainder of the combo.
The funniest thing was the combo for 40 deal at a price of 755. What’s the combo for 41 people? Or 42 people? Or 43? Why $755? Why not $760? Or $765?
I dunno why that amused me.
I want to try their vegetarian hot pot next time.

We were hoping for a bigger portion for our spring rolls and noodles. Overall, it’s on par with the other Chinese restaurants in town. Food tastes great.
We did takeout last week. Very covid friendly setup for pickup for takeout.

I havent been here for years so I tried a takeaway dinner tonight. The portion was quite large and affordable however it was all sooo salty. The meal pictured was only 20 bucks and packed full. It tasted good but I could only eat a small amount of each thing and I doubt I’ll be eating the leftovers unfortunately.
The egg roll was the saltiest of all and not particularly good.
Had it not been over salted I would’ve rated higher. The young woman who took my order was very pleasant. Overall I’d rate it a 3.5.
