I had an awesome experience here for first time. Not only did Charity greet with a smile but she very friendly and attentiveall night. Plus they have Trivia on TV. Thats great when you are a table of 1. A lot of fun. I had tacos [taco tuesday] and margaritas. Fantastic. This place is a lot of fun. I was traveling and I definitely will be back when I am in town again.

My boyfriend was in town this weekend and he is originally from Buffalo. So I took him here for Valentine’s Day but truly for actual Beef on Weck that I know he misses! I called a couple days ago to check on where to park bc I don’t go downtown very often, Kim was soooo helpful on the phone! Our bartender Charity (sp?) at lunch was sooooooo awesome!!! Best bartender or server we’ve had in forever…. & I’ve been a server for 24yrs! She was awesome!

We discovered a new place for us to have lunch in Winston Salem. Eclectic atmosphere and great service from Charity, our bartender.
My wife had some meaty chicken tenders with a pile of delicious fries. I had to have the Beef on wreck with four wings. I chose the Siraccha/Habanero sauce, which was delicious. The thing that drew me to the beef was the Costanzo’s Kimmelweck roll from NY.
Smothered in coarse salt and caraway. Great sandwich.

Lived here for almost a year and finally visited this place after all the recommendations.. Ive gone back a couple times already. The lemon pepper wings were great and the all the way hotdogs!! We ordered several small plates and shared, all were delicious! Hungry Palate has seasonal beer, the wise man pumpkin coffee beer is sooooo good! Nice outdoor seating out front to do some people watching 🙂

I wanted to go to another location but I found out that they didn’t have brunch. So I decided to walking and found this location. As soon as I arrived, i was greeted and I seat at the counter. I order my food and it was quick and good. All staff that were there were very attentive ans may sure you got what you need. The place looked clean and the atmosphere was pleasant and chill with soft music. I will be returning

I thought the service was great even though they were busy and understaffed. The food was ok. I liked the Mexican corn cheese appetizer and the wings were great. But, the roast beef sandwich, which I expected to be great since it’s one of the signature dishes, was terrible. I only took a few bites of it. The roast beef was off or something.

The service here was good, wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The food, meh. Although I ordered a breakfast sandwich at brunch time, my food was bland and lacked flavor. Overall, an ok place to grab a bite.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer at lunch with my wife. Great place cause they have a fair amount of table seating and also can sit at the bar for full service.
Food us really good, it is better than you’d expect walking in and seeing what looks like a cool dive bar type of place. The menu is mix of sandwiches, salads, wings, burgers, hotdogs, with a decent selection of appetizers. The wow factor is really in the quality if the food, simply really good food.
Beer and drink selection is good, full liquor bar and maybe 25 or 30 taps I’d guess with a nice mix of microbrews.
Service wise, the servers/bartenders are all super nice from the 2 that I talked with and did well timing their check ins and keeping drinks full.
A great find that I’d recommend trying. Portions are a good size and I saw plenty of to go orders leaving so it looks like they do take out orders too.

Very nice bar & grill; excellent buffalo chicken dip, the best I’ve had outside of my home area in NY. Very good app size salad, very reasonably priced and very welcoming friendly staff.

Honestly HPBG seemed short staffed and overwhelmed tonight. I got there and had no wait but I spent more time waiting to order than I did to get the food I ordered. Portion of fries was great for the price of $3.50 however the Chicken Rice Bowl did not feel worth its $17.50 price tag. I understand I ordered it without veggies but the piece of chicken I got was very thin as you can see from the photo. With a drink this meal was $26. Next time I’m in town I will consider other options.
