We visited Zee’s Barbeque in Clarksdale on Thanksgiving, and it turned out to be one of the most unexpected and heartwarming meals I’ve ever had. When we arrived at the door, an older lady asked what we were looking for. We said we were here to eat, and she simply smiled and told us to come in — “we’re having our Thanksgiving dinner.”
What followed felt less like going to a restaurant and more like joining a family gathering. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and genuinely special. The food was delicious, but the hospitality is what truly made the experience unforgettable.
One of the most unique Thanksgiving dinners I’ve had. Absolutely five stars!

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for months and finally had the chance to on a Thursday!
Customer Service: Excellent, everyone was nice and attentive to all the customers. Was recommended on what to order because they were out of loaded turkey legs. The event they catered had called and asked for the rest of the turkey legs. I will be back to try the loaded turkey leg.
Now, let’s get to my food! I had the loaded chicken fries!! The mixture of queso cheese, barbecue, and jalapeño was extremely different and delicious. I am embarrassed to say “I ate my food so fast.” The koolaid was good also.
A must try if you are in the Mississippi Delta. They are open Thursday-Saturday.

Hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had in my entire life! I had the pulled pork sandwich and my boyfriend had the ribs. I don’t even like ribs but I loved those!

The wings and ribs were dry. The food isn’t seasoned. No smoked or grill taste. Taste liked the meat was boiled then put on a pit. No Tea just red Kool aid. The service was great. People are nice

My wife and I both the rib dinner – 5 bones with 2 sides, 2 slices of bread and a drink for $30 total for both of us. Portions were huge. We both could have gotten two meals out of ours. Dry rub on the ribs was great as was the slaw. Downside – 10 sides were listed on the menu. I ordered dirty rice and baked beans. They were out of both, so I ordered potato salad and another side, don’t recall which one, but they were out of those too. So I ended up with fries and slaw.

Shared the nachos with hubby for lunch. Very generous portion of smoked meat on top. The eat in portion of the restaurant feels like a fast food joint. Staff were friendly.
