Came here to celebrate my brother’s birthday with the family and we had a great experience overall.
We ordered the royal galbijim, mix seolleongtang with added octopus, spicy cold noodle, and the seafood pancake. The food was honestly amazing. The flavors were rich and comforting, and the meat quality really stood out. I would even say the meat and seasoning were better than Sun Nong Dan.
The royal galbijim was tender and packed with flavor. The only issue was that they forgot to include the octopus in the dish at first. When we let them know, they brought the octopus out separately, but it was just boiled. We had expected it to come back simmered together with the galbijim. It was still good, just not what we thought it would be.
The mix seolleongtang had a nice, clean broth, but the meat portion was a bit sparse. We also had to ask for spring onions instead of them being provided from the start. Not a huge deal, but something to note.
The spicy cold noodle was refreshing with a good kick, and the seafood pancake was crispy on the outside and soft inside, loaded with seafood.
Service was amazing. The staff was attentive, friendly, and generous with the banchan refills. The ambiance is modern with nice decor, and it is quiet enough to have an easy conversation without feeling rushed or crowded.
Parking is easy with a large free lot, which is always a plus in this area.
Overall, despite a couple small hiccups, we had a great time and really enjoyed the food. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Came here after receiving a recommendation from a friend that lived in the area! This place has only been open for 8 months and we ordered a big spread for a friend’s birthday.
Tried their 떡만두국, 보쌈, 미역국, 해물 파전, and 갈비찜. The 반찬 were all very fresh and delicious, with my personal favorites being the 김치 and 오이 김치. All of the mains were presented beautifully and seasoned so well. The 갈비찜 does run on the slightly spicier end but I really enjoyed it regardless. The seafood pancake was so crispy and one of the best I’ve had, so I see why they recommended it! The two soups had a rich broth as well and were finished so quickly. Food portions were also big and the food was delicious overall.
Service was also so wonderful and they held onto a cake for us in the back/provided us with plates and utensils. They were also kind enough to not charge us the service fee despite our party size! I would get everything again and I plan to come back soon.

I had a to-go order from this restaurant. The packaging is definitely one of the best. They use the right container. The food was quite quick and great quality. Ribs are so tender they came out of the bone on their own. I really love this texture. The flavor is just right. They also give a good amount of side dishes. Totally recommend!

Newest Korean restaurant in SGV! With so many 5 stars rating, my wife wdd as it’s to come here! Lots of parking which is great compared to k-town… came here for that famous beef short rib.. it is hard not to compare to song Nan Dan… my wife finds it much sweeter .. meat is very tender.. love the wall paper on the wall with traditional Korean scene•.. from far away, it looks like some painting..

When I heard about this new and upcoming Korean restaurant in the SGV, my friends and I knew we had to check it out and support a fresh addition to the area’s vibrant food scene.
However even with the large sign outside, I still missed the entrance a couple of times. The restaurant is tucked inside a side plaza, and if you’re not familiar with the area, the entrance can be easy to overlook. It’s located just after the stoplight when coming from the 10 freeway, so be sure to stay in the far right lane ahead of time. I’ve added some photos to help others spot the turn. Very important though that if you’re coming from Las Tunas Drive, you can’t make a U-turn directly in front of the plaza, so you’ll need to loop through the opposite plaza’s lot to make a left turn. That’s definitely something to keep in mind for first-time visitors.
Once we got inside, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and quickly seated. The interior blends modern Korean decor with a creative flair–there’s playful calligraphy-inspired art on the walls, giving it a cozy yet trendy feel. I really liked the built-in drawers at the table that stored utensils and napkins, which saved space and made room for what really matters–the food.
The banchan (complimentary Korean side dishes) were a great way to start. From the house-made kimchi to the creamy macaroni salad, everything was fresh and flavorful. While the menu is compact–just one page, front and back–every dish we tried was clearly made with care. Don’t let the limited options fool you. The cheese jeon was the highlight for me; it was brought out and cut tableside by a staff member, and it made for a delicious and fun start to our meal.
By the end, we were completely full and impressed by the quality and presentation. The staff’s hospitality added to the whole experience, making it feel like a true hidden gem.
I can easily see Hangang becoming a go-to spot for locals searching for authentic Korean comfort food or a cozy place to enjoy stone pot dishes. While the location can be tricky to find at first, it’s well worth the effort. With so many Asian restaurants even down the street by Las Tunas, give Hangang a try and support this local business!

No need to go to ktown, food is authentic and delicious. The bibimbap is worth it cause the flat stone pan gives you more crispy rice. Also unlimited banchan, the stewed beef is my favorite

I recently enjoyed a meal here and everything was fantastic! The seafood pancake was crisp on the outside and packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The seolleongtang had a deep, comforting broth, and the galbijjim was incredibly tender and rich — you could really taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients.
The side dishes were delicious and offered in a great variety, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The servers were very friendly, and the service throughout was excellent.
