My first visit was yesterday. They only sell tea or smoothies. The atmosphere is awesome, calming, and beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. I tried their Brown Sugar Bubble Tea. The tea was good, but I could not enjoy it for the bubbles; a gooey substance that came through the straw with every sip! The bubbles had no flavor and were annoying. I started spitting them out, but they were endless! Nearly $12 to sip bubbles.

After gambling at MGM National Harbor, my boyfriend and I went to check out Pekoe, a recently opened bubble tea in the hotel resort and casino. They have 23 drinks to pick from. We had the #7 TMT: Taro with Grass Jelly and #14 Emerald: Honeydew Lychee with Lychee Jelly. Their drinks can be made without sugar, with less sugar (50%), and normal sugar (100%). The #7 TMT usually comes with black pearls and grass jelly. I tried to sub the black pearls for more grass jelly but was told it was an additional dollars to double up on the grass jelly. The grass jelly had a weird can taste to them. I regret not getting a fruit tea. This was the most expensive bubble tea we’ve had. Two regular sized bubble tea cost $25 (with a 15% tip). I may return to try No. 4, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, or 16 if I win big!

Too expensive for a drink. Asked for less ice, but looks like they didn’t care. Tried brown sugar one. Tastes like any other place. Wouldn’t go back due to the price.

Absolutely avoid. These people rip you off! Charges upwards of $10-12 for their drinks and it’s 50% to 75% ICE!!?! When I told the cashier to remake it they said that is the normal amount of ice they put in and they refused to remake it. They were very adamant about this and did not remake our drink. Don’t waste your time here.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pekoe, a charming tea spot located inside the MGM Hotel at the beautiful National Harbor in Maryland.
During my visit was I tried their “Pretty in Pink” bubble tea. Not only was it visually appealing with its vibrant pink color, but the taste was absolutely delightful. It was pretty cool that some of the bubble were shaped like hearts. The balance of flavors was perfect – a subtle blend of sweetness and a hint of fruitiness that left me craving for more. It was truly a treat for my taste buds!
Adding to the experience was the stunning cherry tree that I used as a backdrop for my beverage. It created a unique and picturesque setting, making my tea moment even more special.
The young lady at Pekoe was friendly and understood that I had never been to a Pekoe before. She patiently answered all my questions and made recommendations based on my preferences. Her hospitality enhanced my overall experience.
I recommend Pekoe for a great tea experience. Treat yourself to the Pretty in Pink bubble tea and let yourself be whisked away to a world of flavors and tranquility. Thank you, Pekoe, for a wonderful tea journey!

I stopped in for boba tea with my husband and we both really enjoyed our time at this establishment. The staff were all pleasant and explained the various drinks. My drink of choice is Thai Me Up and the taste was perfect. The ice in your drink can be modified if you request. The ambiance is amazing. I like the fact that they stay open late. I will return and bring my teenagers in the near future.
