In my last two visits, I have been disappointed with the size of the “scoop” (see photo and judge for yourself). When we brought it to the employee’s attention, he became combative. I have been a customer of Whit’s in Granville since 2007, so I know what a regular scoop should look like. Is this a new policy under the new administration, or an employee issue?

This is a great little shop and the custard is very good. We enjoyed talking with the guy that made our Sundays. He was very nice and helpful. We look forward to visiting this Whits again. We highly recommend stopping in for a treat.

This little ice cream store in downtown Granville is full of charm and character. The staff are always welcoming,efficient and polite. The frozen custard is delicious with so many toppings to create your own favorite combination! You can also buy a pint (or two) to take home!

Flavor of the week is where it’s at, which at the time of this review, was Lemon Blueberry. Delicious! Food on the other hand, was second to lackluster. Ordered a chicken quesadilla and I’m greeted by a cheesy, flavorless disc. Maybe that’s just on me for expecting better from a custard place, but I do not recommend their food; just the sweets.

This Whit’s location is not nearly as charming as the former location in Granville, but the custard is still delicious. Buckeye Madness whitser is VERY good — creamy, sweet, and salty! The custard is definitely more expensive than other custard/ice cream/sweet treat shops and so that is why I am sad the store isn’t nearly as quaint as it used to be. But a true Granville staple nonetheless!
As far as this actual visit was concerned, the customer service was fine, and they made our order very quickly, but store cleanliness could be improved. There was some trash on the floor in the seating area and a visibly dirty rag on the counter where they set the ice cream orders. Not the end of the world, but room for improvement.

Delicious custard!
Whit’s has a wide variety of yummy treats to satisfy your sweet tooth craving. Their new location has a larger indoor dining area which is nice, or you can sit outside on hot summer days.

They have so many varieties of frozen delights to choose from. For celebrating Chrismas holidays, they have made a candy cane flavoured ice cream which was awesome. I have also tried a fruit sundae where you can choose the variety of fruits you want to add to your frozen custard. I have shared the photo of the sundae I ate. The sundae was really colorful, instagram worthy. Highly recommend.
