We had evacuated San Saba one day early and were headed home a bit bummed out that we were not able to hike Colorado Bend State Park. Enter this amazing lunch spot. And, I can tell you, with the location of this one I would have no problem eating dinner here or any other meal where they are open. Savory and sweet crepes, which my wife researched while we were literally on the way. I had the Reuben crepe, my wife had the chicken pesto crepe. Both were amazing. We are from the Fort Worth Texas area and I can tell you that if this place was located in downtown Fort Worth it would be a great spot with a 30-minute wait perpetually. Need to get with these Aggies (at least I assume they’re Aggies given the subtle Aggie items at the cash register) about setting up a place in Fort Worth. Beautiful place. Beautiful food. Comanche Texas who knew!?

What a true gem, that one can only stumble on on their travels. This place is a little Hallmark movie place. French trained chef and baker, well traveled family, with an eye for service. The bread is fluffy, the meats well flavored. All a good size for a surprisingly good price. The rosemary vinaigrette on the side salad was refreshingly different from the usual vinegar overpowered ones.
The place has an old feel but is far from outdated. You could imagine yourself in an art nouveau Parisian bistro, with the menu neatly scribbled on a chalkboard. I appreciate places that let you pick a seat with enough time to read the rich menu.
The menu can surely satisfy any taste buds. Savory or sweet, it’s there and it’s unique.
This place is one of those that stays in your memory. Make sure you stop by and experience it for yourself.

Chef quality French-inspired cuisine on the square in Comanche, who’da thunk it?!
Very pleasant space, casual yet very nice. Great service ordering and when the food came out.
Crepes looked fabulous, sweet or savory, but we opted for hardier lunch fare. Hamburger steak cooked to perfection with tasty potatoes )and obviously homemade gravy) and grilled zucchini. Buddy’s steak also perfectly cooked and nice piece of beef.
Kinda stuff you’d expect in a much larger city.
Bon appetite!

I have been so pleased with the new menu and concept of Harvest La Creperie. I never really ate crepes before, well, only on occasion. The savory crepes are incredible . I didn’t know if I would like them, but I love them. As usual with Chef Todd’s fine food, the flavors are delicious and perfect. Then they have the sweet desser crepes again more delicious than what I’ve ever had. Overall, I recommend each and EVERYTHING on the menu. You should try them all at least once. I have 4 items to go to complete our goal of tasting everything. You’re not only supporting a local business, you’re supporting a very sweet local family and a super staff. We are thankful this fine food is local to us.

Just had the prime rib tonight. Probably the best prime rib I’ve ever had. Freshly grated horse radish. Loaded potato and butter corn. Just amazing!
Breakfast was so good that we came back for dinner. The quail was amazing. Great food. Great Christian people. Will go back again and again.

Beautiful space with extraordinarily great food! The staff was friendly and knew their wine parings. Our chef greeted us at the table, and the owner asked about our meal as well. By far the best in the area, and worth a trip to Comanche on it’s own.
Recently visited again. The atmosphere feels like fine dining, but everyone who greeted our table (servers, chef/owner) made me feel comfortable even though I was dressed for work. Everything we ate, from the amuse bouche (delicious pulled pork on some kind of potato medallion) to the rolls were obviously made with love and attention to detail. My only regret is that I didn’t take pictures to post this time.
Update: I haven’t had the crepes or new menu yet, but the fresh bread and pastries are absolutely amazing! I recommend EVERYTHING!
