The best part about dining at The Terrace Grill is the view across the harbor toward Bar Island. It’s stunning. Next is the service. Our server, Kim, did an excellent job balancing checking on us and giving us space. She paid special attention to details with our order and answered our questions about the harbor and the community. Finally, the food was very good and well presented. My wife had the Blueberry salad with Salmon which was outstanding. I had the fish tacos with grilled haddock and they were quite tasty. The sauce and salsa had excellent flavor. The fish was a little dry. The prices were quite reasonable and I would definitely go back.

Came here on a lark with no reservations so waited just long enough to have a smoked blueberry margarita. Best decision of the day. View goes very with lobster pappardelle. Hubs had steamed lobster plate. Both dishes amazing. Restaurant is on the shore path so an after dinner stroll is a must. Friendly and accommodating to my service dog os always appreciated.

Best restaurant in Bar Harbor. I’m still dreaming about the Lobster Bisque and Lobster Rolls. Bisque was hot and tasty. Roll was sturdy and didn’t fall apart. Also best blueberry pie and ice cream we had. And the atmosphere of being under the umbrellas next to the water was perfect.

A fantastic experience!! The food presentation is delightful. Service was top notch for such a busy afternoon. The staff works well together and nobody seemed rushed. This was my first time here. It will not be the last. Breathtaking views from the outside patio area… Love this place!!!

I honestly expected better from this place. The food was average probably the least tastiest food I’ve had in bar harbor. The plating was nice. I had the lobster bruschetta which had way too much mayo, was not great. The haddock sandwich which was good but a little spicy. Fish tacos which were not that great. Cesar salad was drenched in dressing. I had 2 bites and had to send it back. The service was not great either, workers would go the other way when you’re clearly trying to get their attention. I had to literally get up to get the workers attention for things I needed.
The views are amazing though. I would only come here for drinks.

Had the lobster bisque. Went with the bowl. Good choice. It was very good. Followed up with the traditional lobster role. Highly recommend adding the spicy butter on the side. Took everything over the top. Will come back.

Not afraid to say this but this was the best place on our trip to bar harbor. Went on a full fledged lobster roll diet while in Maine and between all the lobster pounds and places in and around bar harbor this was #1. The lobster bisque and clam showed were both how I personally like them! Oh yeah and the view was great. Fire pit if you get chilly. Highly recommend for a crowning dinner during your trip.

We had a very lunch here while on vacation during Memorial Day weekend. The view was nice and the service was excellent. The server was extra nice to our 2 yo son. She got him a special little bowl of strawberries when he asked for some. We got the clam chowder and the lobster bisque. Both were great. I also got the lobster roll which was excellent! My only critique is that it could have been filled with a bit more lobster. I might just be used to the over filled ones they serve down on Cape Cod though. Anyway great spot!

We are staying at the hotel and would never normally eat at a hotel restaurant, but this place is a game changer. Last night I had the Lobster Cobb Salad and tonight I had the Down Easter Lobster Bake and my wife had the Maine Lobster Pappardelle.
Everything has been excellent!. Wait was only 30 minutes both nights since we are hotel guests. Just hang out on the Adirondack chairs and take in the scenery.
A surprisingly good value, lobster was great. I had them do mine with the jerk sauce and it made it really tasty.

My wife and I took a NCL cruise from NYC to Canada and back last year. One of the stops was in Bar Harbor. We walked around for awhile checking out all the activity. Lots going on here.
Then we went to the terrace Grille for lunch on the beautiful outdoor terrace of the Bar Harbor Inn.
We both had a lobster roll and it was one of the best we have ever had. Highly recommended.
