The food here is phenomenal question and the service is exceptional! This was my first time being there and I was warmly welcomed by the front cashier girls and both Laura and Nina were friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.
I even got to meet the owners and they were very friendly and treated me like family.
This is the great place to take the family for a hearty meal that is not too far from the beach.
They have an amazing selection of gourmet hot dogs, Smashburgers, and chicken items, as well as some phenomenal sides.

Who doesn’t like a good dawg. From the early days of pushing a New York-style hot dog cart to the roaming food truck rolling into rallies and festivals, Surf Dawgs Grill continues their successful trajectory now with own brick and mortar. Decked out in a laid-back surf vibe with counter ordering, a collective arrangement of seating inside and deck outside welcoming your furry friends. Wall menu (and paper menu) offers nearly a dozen gourmet dawgs, a number of one-of-kind smash burgers, a plethora of specialty sides and extras. Hand-spun milk shakes and handmade sorbet-style ices.
Their dawgs are 100% all beef Sabrett hot dogs shipped fresh directly from New York. Our order was the Carolina Dawg smothered with house-made chili, diced onions, mustard and soul slaw and the Soul Dawg loaded with melted cheddar and crispy bacon. From the snap of the textured dog to the made from scratch, fresh ingredients one knows they are tasting quality. Love their standard fries that are seasoned and fried to perfection. Service was friendly and welcoming creating an environment conducive to another visit. Course, a honest mistake on their part and their willingness to correct it had us returning. But who needs an excuse to stop in and try a different dawg? Which we did.

The service was wonderful! Food came out fast and was correct. The fries are crispy. The employees are so friendly and knew every customer that walked in by name. I had a couple of questions and they were answered with great explanation. This is a restaurant that everyone should support.

Great Service with good recommendations. The food was fantastic. Fries cooked perfectly crispy with good seasonings. Good portions for the price. Good southern sweet tea.
I would recommend going for some of the more out there offerings instead of a basic chili cheese dog. I’ve never been a fan of pickles, but the spicy maple bourbon pickles on the Maui burger didn’t taste like pickles and weren’t very spicy, and they gave the whole sandwich a crispy texture and sweet aftertaste that was perfect.

Awesome service, amazing menu, and an all around great dining experience. Went there for Valentine’s Day so my wife could get a weiner, but she went for the chicken instead! I had the hot honey chicken. It was delicious. We’re trying the smash burgers on the next visit. We also had a key lime shake and chocolate strawberry shake. Totally worth it! Only our second visit, but we’ll be back!

We walked in and were greeted right away. We ordered a regular philly cheesesteak, an order of onion rings and two shakes,choc and van. OH MY GOODNESS! Absolutely delicious! They were soooo nice. We were their last customers of the evening, i mean we walked in like 10 minutes before closing and were treated like gold!

Saw this place on social media and had to try it out. Did not disappoint! Food was fantastic! The variety of options for the dogs and burgers is great! The smash burger was probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time! Garlic Parmesan fries were great as well. Definitely a place I would come back for! Keep up the phenomenal work!

Surf Dawgs is the name, so I started on a hot dog with spicy brown mustard, sauerkraut, and Sabrett red onions served on a Martins Potato Roll…Delicious!
I also tried the build your own Smash Burger. I must say, I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was. Two patties of great tasting beef. I added:
American cheese, which came out melted perfectly. Crispy onions, not undercooked or burnt.
Bacon Jam, very tasty. And tomato.
They have dessert! I had a Key lime pie on a stick dipped in chocolate…WOW!!!
I will be back!!! I highly recommend!

We were craving a good hot dog for dinner and searched hot dogs places in the area. We decided to check out Surf Dawgs and it did not disappoint. We (even the kids) decided it was the best meal we have eaten on our vacation, even better than the seafood and such! The hot dogs are super juicy, and the Buffalo bacon ranch fries were so good we couldn’t stop eating them before we even got to our hot dogs. The Italian ice is delicious, too. Friendly staff. Super clean. Good vibe. We’ll be back!

We ordered takeout and it did not disappoint. All the burgers sounded great but I ultimately decided the Key Largo burger. It was tasty and fulfilling. Had a few bites of the Big Maui which was also good. The patties are smashed which is a plus. Fries were seasoned well. Staff were friendly and the menu and layout is cool and fun. Would recommend and will come try again.
