Love this place. We were shopping and decided to drop in for lunch. Joann is courteous, friendly and fast. The food is basic Chinese dishes with large portions and tastes like you expect. Easy parking, fast friendly service. Definitely kid and family friendly with tons of booths, tables and outdoor patio. Ada friendly!

Walked in for a take out order. Cashier/water was friendly and got the order in very quickly. Did not get to sit down to eat but the place seems very cozy and elegantly built.
Combo fried rice was good. Unusual to have been sprouts which is my fav so it was a pleasant surprise. Will come back for dine in next time.

I had a horrible experience at the Golden Gong on 12/25/2025. I called the day before to make sure they would be open on Christmas Day and was told they would be. I ordered my food through a link on their website at 4:50pm. I got an email saying my order would be ready at about 6:05. My husband went to pick it up and was told it would be a few minutes until it was ready. At 6:30 he asked about the food and was told they were starting to make it. At 7:05 he was told it would be ready soon. He asked for a refund and was told it wasn’t possible. He came and got me ( we live 5 min away). At 7:30 the food still wasn’t ready. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she wouldn’t talk to us. I asked for a refund and was told “NO”. We never got our food.

I’m so sorry, but the food was not tasty and was not worth the price.
The wonton soup is just a soup with little seasoning, two pieces of wonton with one streak of meat. The stir-fried beans are a day away from going bad, it’s the packaged one. Hot and sour soup is super watery, served warm not hot. Egg roll is so soggy from the inside. The general tso’s chicken is breaded chicken with sriracha sauce.

Mediocre!! The orange chicken was dry and chewy! And the cashew chicken was okay… I wish it had more flavor. For the dinner price of $18 plus $4 a fountain drink it was not worth it!!!
