Amazing staff who were super sweet and a good amount of chatty. Very helpful and overall great experience. We went during lunch on Friday, so it was pretty calm. We sat next to the waterfall and watched the beautiful fish. The food came out fast, and it was absolutely delicious. You can’t beat their brisket and collard greens. Everything on the plate was unbelievably good. We will definitely take the time to drive up here again!

As I walked up to the restaurant, the rich smell of barbecue smoke let me know I was in for a treat. The hash and rice were delicious and perfectly seasoned—just like the kind I grew up eating. The brisket was tender and juicy, and the broccoli salad was perfection (no onions—yay!). The only downside was the sweet tea wasn’t sweet enough for my taste. Overall, I highly recommend this place—this BBQ is the real deal.

First time here and was amazed. We ordered family packs and a couple of extra specials. Everything is great! Quality, fresh, clean, friendly and fun place. Indoor or outdoor atmosphere and private or groups. Lots going on here and the owner is a very well seasoned BBQ expert and hands on. We happened to get a picture with Kevin Baker in the mix of his busy schedule. Friendly fun family vibe with a feel of backyard home values.

We just ordered our son’s graduation party lunch from Bakers BBQ last weekend and I would 110% recommend them to everyone. They were excellent about communicating with us and even accommodated us last minute when we needed to pick up our order 2 hours ahead of time. The food is outstanding, especially the mac and cheese and their Carolina Gold sauce. The BBQ was tender and had a wonderful flavor; our guests were happy and full. They are by far the best BBQ restaurant in the area with the nicest owners and staff. Thank you for a great catering experience and delicious food!

Genuinely a great experience. The dining area is very cool and quirky, kinda like a classic Cracker Barrel meets grandma’s backyard. The food was spectacular! The brisket was delicious, moist, and melted in our mouths. The mac and cheese was great (although personally I enjoy it a little more creamy), greens and beans were solid, and the potato salad was fire! Prices were fair for the portions but the service was where they stood out. The gentlemen that took care of us were friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient. Definitely coming back here again.

I’ve always heard about this place so I decided to give it a shot today after I picked Cooper up. I dig it! I appreciate the various barbecue joints in the Tri-County area because each one of them has their own style and each one offers something that I love. Cooper’s barbecue sandwich was huge! The meatloaf was soft and flavorful. The red rice was different than what I have had but I enjoyed it and the baked beans had a hint of sweetness to them. They had mustard, vinegar-based and a red sweet barbecue sauce. I really liked the red sweet sauce. The mustard was good and the vinegar didn’t punch me in the throat too bad. The guys in the kitchen also hooked me up with a little sampling of brisket. Again, completely different than anything I’ve ever had but very flavorful and delicious. They are only open three days a week I believe so go check them out! Nap time

I mean it when I say this is the best barbecue I have ever had. I’m born and raised in the low country and have never been more impressed with the customer service, the ambiance, and most importantly the food. My boyfriend and I got the brisket plate, the pulled pork sandwich, and for sides we got coleslaw (I have never had better slaw before sorry mom) red beans and rice, baked beans (highly recommend and I don’t eat beans) potato salad with a perfect amount of dill, and a side of the tomato pie. Every single bite was perfect and I can’t remember the last time I had that kind of first time experience. We’re already making plans for our next visit, if you’re looking for amazing barbecue in the low country you’ve found it!

This place is delicious! 10/10 would recommend. It wasn’t busy when we got there, so we didn’t have to wait. You order at the counter and then pick a seat and they bring it to you. I wanted to ait next to this awesome waterfall/koi pond they have. Super peaceful and beautiful. The staff was amazingly nice and made the whole experience easy. I got a pulled pork plate with mac-n-cheese and green beans and my boyfriend got the meatloaf sandwich. Y’all it tasted delicious! This is some good country cooking and they’re very generous with the portions. We’ll be coming back!

A really cool homey and vintage vibe! They were really friendly and helpful too. We got the family meal with half lb of BBQ and half lb of brisket. The mac and cheese was yummy and the sweet potatoes were just right. Got a slice of tomato pie and it was really good. We also tried the salted caramel chocolate cake and that was pretty tasty too! There is outside dining and an indoor section too.
