The Market’s restaurant boasts a creative Mediterranean, Italian and fresh seafood-forward menu with full wine, cocktail, mocktail and spirits list in addition to house-made desserts. Indoor and outdoor seating available, reservations recommended but are not required. Closed on Tuesdays. $6 Happy Hour is 3-6pm every day!

Tonight I was served by Amy and she was absolutely fantastic. She gave honest reviews for drinks and as a bartender I really appreciate that. There wasn’t a drink I sipped that I didn’t like. She gave great service and the food was amazing. Will definitely come back!

My wife Ari and I recently visited The Market Bar and Restaurant in Saratoga Springs, and we had a blast. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food delivered on every level. It’s the kind of place that feels both elevated and comfortable, where you can enjoy a great meal without any pretense.
I ordered the Argentinian Empanadas, and they were fantastic. The exterior was perfectly crisp, and the filling was rich, savory, and clearly made with care. The chimichurri added a fresh, tangy kick that brought the whole dish together. I found myself slowing down halfway through just to make it last a little longer.
Ari went with the Steak Frites, and she absolutely loved it. The steak was tender and flavorful, cooked just the way she likes it. The fries were golden, crispy, and didn’t even need ketchup — they were that good. It was one of those meals where each bite just works.
From the food to the vibe to the service, everything hit the mark. We left full and happy, already talking about what we’d try next time. If you’re in Saratoga Springs, The Market Bar is definitely worth a visit.

We have visited Franklin Square Market and the restaurant on many occasions since Jullie & Mark Delos have become managing partners. From casual drinks and apps at the bar on St. Patrick’s Day to an Italy themed 5 course dinner, to a restaurant dinner for a friend’s birthday, we have had excellent experiences. Their Kentucky Derby Block Party in its first year, attracted over 200 people and was amazing with decor, food, music and a very nice crowd. We ordered take out catering which was brought out to our car and was ready to go making hosting that night easy! Our favorite department is the seafood, always fresh and our advance orders are ready to go! On all these occasions from casual at the bar to sit down dinners, to special events, the team has always made us feel welcome! The food and service were beyond what you would expect from a new restaurant! The owners and the team at Market Cafe and Bar are dedicated to providing top quality experiences for their customers.

Gatekeeping this place as long as possible because I know no one reads my reviews, but this place is Toga’s secret gem. Tuna nachos come as a very generous portion with an abundant amount of fresh tuna and avocado. The smash burger is sneaky, the best burger you’ll find in Saratoga. Drinks, top-notch.

This is easily the best restaurant in Saratoga Springs. I have been multiple times with different groups and the food is always delicious! The rotating seasonal menu is compelling (as are a many of the regular menu items – duck schnitzel, warm baked Brie, roasted butternut ricotta, faro island salmon, salads), the service is on point, and the drinks are great. We are a foodie family and have been fortunate to eat at many great restaurants across the US. The Market Restaurant, while unassuming, ranks among the best. Do yourself a favor and walk one block west from the Main Street. You won’t be disappointed.

Happy Hour Letdown — Know Before You Go
We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant after hearing great things, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We made a 5pm reservation, intentionally timing it to enjoy the advertised Happy Hour specials (offered Tues–Sun from 3–6pm according to their website).
We were seated at a high-top table next to the bar and ordered drinks, then tried to place a food order based on the Happy Hour menu we had seen online. Only then did the waitress inform us that Happy Hour specials are only available if you are seated at the bar—something that was not mentioned anywhere on their website or in the restaurant signage.
To make matters worse, the food items we specifically came for—like the beer cheese & pretzels and the fish tacos—weren’t even available to purchase at a regular price unless you were seated directly at the bar. We had also planned to order the calamari ($21) off the regular menu but decided instead to close out and take our business elsewhere.
Such a shame, because we were genuinely excited to try the place. A heads-up about the Happy Hour seating restriction would have made a big difference. Hopefully, they make this policy more clear for future guests.
