Having been told about this chippy from a local in Exeter that I stopped. I walked the 13 mins tot he shop. The service was excellant and the portion very decent. Service with a smile. Wrapped up well fro my walk back to the hotel. Next time im in Exeter definately will return. Niece to find a tradiitonal Fish and Ship shop. The fish was really meaty and was delicious.

Pre-ordered so could just pop in and pick up. When i got there they told me they just had to cook it. Waited 15 minutes for 2 large chips and 3 large sausages. Portions were small. Cost over a tenner for some very low quality food. Will not be returning.

The fish was soggy the chips was soggy, there was a customer in the kitchen, I was waiting for nearly 10 minutes before anybody served, they did not know that you should put the vinegar on first and then the salt, and not put vinegar on the fish as that is what helped turn it soggy.

We normally get good fish and chips here, but tonight they were awful, chips were very undercooked, batter fell apart and was soggy, fish hardly cooked at all and fell apart.
If this is new staff, please train them, we have many better ways to spend £23, would like to know the owners response before ever wasting our money again.

Nice fish and chips. Fair price and quick service. I liked they had home made tartar suace. We had cod bites and haddock with 2 large chips. Nice amount and nicely done.

Such friendly lady always serving the manager I think, great portions too. Always explains if somethings different to normal so you know before you order! Great sense of humour and a proper chippy atmosphere. Only one I go to in Exeter!

Popped in on a Friday afternoon at 12:15 and was very impressed.
Staff were really lovely, the food was well priced and was cooked to order in good time.
Chips were great, burger was tasty and the fish cakes were moist and not dry like other places.
