Grand Opening was a big day. Lots of people, lots of food, and slightly above average wait time. Personally went with the platter for four and was able to try the fried fish three different ways (including bone-in catfish) as it was the best value deal and comes with two sharable sides. No redeye gravy yet but it’s coming soon as is chicken tenders and few more kid friendly options. Observered limited gluten-free options, diary free options, and vegan options. Finished the night with a slice of chocolate cake and banana pudding cake. Overall, a worthy addition to the area and fine salute to Moore and Moore. Well done Big D!

The food was good. Potato salad would be great with pickle in it. Not a fan of the Cole slaw at all. The fries and hush puppies where great. Absolutely loved the catfish flounder shrimp and clam strips where spot on great flavor great taste. Prices are high I think with lower prices would be a bigger flow of regular customers. The staff where very kind and helpful and right there if needed. One thing would helped if we where offered a plate to eat our meal off of. Would try again hopefully next time will be a better experience.

We loved our food at at the Fry House tonight. My wife had fried shrimp with hush puppies and coke slaw and I had the catfish filets with the same sides. Hannah our server was talkative and very nice and we met the owner Big D and enjoyed our conversation with him. Good food made to order. We consider ourselves seafood snobs as we grew up on the Ga coast but the Fry House tickled our fancy! We’ll be back with friends next time!

I was really looking forward to having I place to get fried fish. The staff seemed nice, service was good. The food however was not good at all. We didn’t eat it all and actually cooked something else to eat because we couldn’t eat any more of the food we paid for. We got a family platter and a shrimp plate to try it all. Not worth the money at all. Really sad.
