I’ve tried this particular Sagebrush twice, figuring my first experience may have been a fluke. However the wait to be seated as a party of 1 was abhorrent, 15 minutes to get seated when there were only 3 tables seated already is a bit obscene.
The fish and chips on my first visit arrived promptly and hot, however the fish and french fries were both horribly over salted, and I love salt on my food.
With the steak, loaded fries and shrimp of my second visit the steak was overcooked while the shrimp were lukewarm. This second meal also suffered from a terrible over salting problem that made eating the meal uncomfortable.
The only redeeming feature of this restaurant are it’s waitresses, all we’re very friendly and prompt to get your order (after you are seated). And the food arrives promptly as well.
Overall a very lack luster experience, the people are good but they need to train their chefs on how to properly prepare and cook a steak, and have someone always keeping an eye on arriving customers to get them seated.

My husband and I came here with no real expectations. Entering it was quiet and clean. Our waitress Kristin was very upbeat and friendly. Our drinks never ran low and our food was brought out quick and hot!
We ordered the fried pickles appetizer which is breaded pickle spears served with ranch dressing. The flavor is amazing!
For our main course my husband ordered the all american burger well done with fries. I ordered the sweetwater salmon with burbon sauce a loaded baked potato and cole slaw. My husband is a picky burger guy and said that his was great. Juicy and thick. The salmon was incredible as was the baked potato. The slaw isnt up my alley as it had peppers in it but slaw is a personal preference.
I expressed my happiness with my food experience to our waitress comparing the restaurant to Texas Roadhouse but in my mind better. A restaurant should be told when they are doing great just like they are told when they are doing badly. The manager Brent was informed and politely greeted us and thanked us for coming and offered us dessert.
Now im not one to indulge in dessert most times but the blackberry crisp was really talking to me. And im so glad it did. Its served in a cast iron skilled with a layer of amazing blackberries and the crisp crust with 2 dollops of vanilla ice cream. HIGHLY recommend.
In conclusion I will be returning soon with family and friends and just on a date night with my husband. I highly suggest everyone go give them a try because our experience was amazing!

This is their $10 Signature Texas Salad, I literally could’ve made it from their salad bar for half the price. Our appetizers were just warm and the portion size of something I could’ve gotten from Hardee’s for $5 but gotten a drink and a cookie with it. Our daughter’s steak tips from the kids menu came out medium-well. Why would a kids menu item not automatically be cooked fully, unless specified otherwise?

First time here and we are finishing our dinner. While the waitress is great and friendly. The food can be better. We order the steak and ribs combo. The ribs were cold. Like they were heated in the microwave and served.

After the last trip, it’s a wonder we came back at all. The last visit, we sat for over 30 minutes, never could get waited on. Not even our drinks! We, of course, were met with all sorts of care once we stood up to leave. So, in all fairness, we came back….everybody has a bad day from time to time! Right?
This was just as bad! Hardly any customers, early in the evening. Waitress was precious! New, only been here a few days, not her fault! But everything else was awful! My steak was OVERcooked, salty, crazy salty, his was undercooked, two different cuts of meat, two different plates/meals. Potatoes were hardly hot enough to melt butter! Just horrible. The bill was wrong, but again, new waitress, not her fault! We even left a good tip to encourage her! But we wont be back!

The food here was absolutely delicious. I was here with a party of six people and each of us received a meal that was perfect and just exactly as we ordered.
The service was fast and food good and hot.
Our server did not return to us frequently to check on our needs, even though the restaurant was not busy, so we were fortunate that everything was exactly as we ordered.
Do be mindful of the check after your meal, more specifically the change you receive once you’ve paid. Ours was short significantly and the server was never to be seen again. Our generous gratuity was altered to make up this difference.

This place was TERRIBLE! The only good part of my meal was the salad. I’ve had better tasting mashed potatoes out of a frozen meal or instant which is exactly how they tasted. The steak I order medium rare was well done mostly because it was prime rib and I think it had been cooking ALL day. Service was fine and you could tell even the waitress knew the food she was serving was less appealing than leftovers. I would recommend going somewhere else.

The staff was friendly and the service was good, but not great. The bread served while waiting was hot and seemed fresh, but felt stale as you bit into it. The rest of the meal (I had ribs and chicken with okra and green beans) was much better. 3.99 for 1 trip to the salad bar, with no option to get it instead of a side was a bit much considering the selection, but it was at least average to above average for the overall price point.
