This is a nice reminder of what authentic Chinese food taste like. We tried slices beef with peppers, spring rolls, egg drop soup, and chicken fried rice. Everything was piping hot and well flavored.
The only thing to be modified is the time it took to take drink orders and the order of food delivery (the preference is for appetizers to come out before the meal but asking the customer if all is desired together is good).
The venue is spacious, the light is well balanced and it has nice music playing juat enough to set the scene for authentic cuisine. We will definitely be back when we return to DC.

Food was amazing, extremely well made and flavorful. The Ghost Pepper Chicken and it had just the right amount of kick we were hoping for. The meat was also very tender. The Eggplant was a little on the blander side, however it served as a perfect balance for our more flavor heavy dishes. The Roasted Crispy Chicken, however, was a little dry and the flavor was a little lacking. For appetizers, we ordered the Wontons in Chili Oil, Fried Bao Buns and Beef wrapped in Scallion Pancake and found them to be very well done and encapsulates the original taste perfectly. The ambience was very calm and pleasant with a slight hint of background music to close out the atmosphere. Service was exceptional as well and the wait times were reasonable.

The service was excellent and the environment was very pleasant. The dishes were authentic and came in generous portions. The restaurant offers great value for money. My family really enjoyed the meal — we were already talking about coming back again on our way home! Only the parking machine took too long to processing.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Even though it didn’t have many reviews online, the food was surprisingly good, almost Chinatown-level good. The soup dumplings were excellent, and they also offer quite a few authentic Sichuan style dishes.

The food was awesome! The braised pork belly with preserved mustard greens was super tender, and the greens cut through the richness perfectly. The dry-fried green beans had that smoky wok flavor and just the right crunch, totally addictive! The West Lake beef soup was light but really flavorful, kind of soothing and comforting. And the lamb hotpot with the skin-on pieces was hearty and packed with flavor, perfect for sharing. Altogether, everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. I’d definitely come back just for this combo.

The soup dumplings were amazing and definitely my favorite. The staff was super nice and really patient with little kids, which I appreciated. The chicken with peppers was a bit too numbing and spicy for me, but it’d be great for anyone who loves that kind of heat. Overall, good food and a really welcoming spot.

First time eating here and we had a great experience! I have a VERY low spice tolerance so I was worried about what I would be able to eat, but they’ve got plenty of variety. We got the mouthwater chicken, mapo tofu, dry pot cauliflower, crispy pork w garlic sauce, pot stickers, and egg drop soup and everything was amazing. The friends I went with are Chinese too and they approved

Nice place to grab dinner. Good portion. We are satisfied with the food and service. Parking is in the back and requires paid parking. It’s worthwhile if you are craving for Sichuan food. Would like to try spicier food nice time.
