The lady who took my order wouldn’t let me confirm my order. I ordered the chorizo burrito with no eggs extra potato, she kept rushing me, asking me for here or to go, I just wanted to make sure my order was correct and guess what , the order didn’t have extra potatoes. She kept rushing laughing for no reason mocking me and look what she does. She puts my food on a bake sheet while everyone else gets their food served on trays. A great place for Adobada straight off el troppo, without a 20 minute line like at El Gordo. Do not sleep on this place, it’s great! They run a daily special almost every day. And the fries here are always great and crispy, not soggy like they usually are at Cotija’s. Don’t forget to say hi to the Beta fish at the salsa bar

My second trip here was good. Just ask what their special is for the day. I had the fish tacos today and they were good. Tastes even better when they’re on sale.
I had been to Tacos El Trompo in Mission Beach, and was very pleased with the friendly customer service and value for your buck. While driving by this area and finding another Tacos El Trompo, I was eager to give it a try. Their service was not horrible but definitely did not compare to the Mission Beach location. Also, $11.40 for a burrito the size of a hotdog seems like a poor value for your buck. The orange hot sauce was good. The green was my least favorite, and the red was just ok. After placing my order, I read reviews about fish taco Wednesday. Although today is Wednesday, I saw no signs indicating a deal for fish tacos.

There were four of us that bought food from here during the same visit and the food was not good. There was zero flavor to the tacos I got. I got more guacamole put on my tacos then anything. I was curious if I somehow just order guacamole.

This is the place to be on Tuesdays. With Taco Bell raising their supreme tacos to ~$3 you can’t beat their $1.50 taco Tuesday deal. Sometimes you can even call your order ahead (I would recommend to call before 3). Their torta especial and chile relleno burrito are also great choices.

Great tacos and delicious Adobada meat, carved from a large Trompo in the back. Not over spiced but tasty and charred. I definitely need to come back on Taco Tuesday. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful. This restaurant is in a shopping center that has no other restaurant near by, but once you find it you will come back. Nice salsa bar and friendly staff. They have specials on some days of the week.
