I ordered a chocolate mousse cake for my daughter’s birthday, and it was absolutely delicious! We received it just before the big day, and everything—from the rich flavor to the beautiful decorative frosting—was perfect. The presentation was amazing, and the cake exceeded our expectations. My first visit to this hidden gem. But it’s really not hidden at all. It’s located in the Plaza ACROSS from Giesslers. I had a chat with the owner and her niece about all their deserts and treats. I resisted the urge to buy absolutely everything is the display cases. I fell in love with a mint chocolate layer cake… it was beyond good. And I also picked out some dinner before leaving. Based on niece’s recommendation, I selected the sausage, spinach, and potato stromboli – just 15 minutes in the oven… added my own sauce and cheese. Yum!
The cookies and cakes are going to be part of my next party. Definitely stop in and see what they have to offer. Selection, price, quality, and taste are way way beyond any grocery store, specialty market, or big box.

I found Giuseppina’s Italian Bakery last minute on Google and called to see if they had any ready-made cakes for my toddler’s birthday. Within minutes, they had one ready for me! The cake was incredibly moist, perfectly sweet, and absolutely delicious. The customer service was outstanding, making the whole experience even better.
Having grown up in Boston, family-owned Italian bakeries like this one always remind me of home. I also tried their cheese danish, which was phenomenal—flaky, well-made, and full of flavor. On top of that, I picked up some wine biscuits, and I had to stop myself from eating them all before I got home to share with my kids!
Overall, I highly recommend this bakery. Whether you’re looking for a special occasion cake or just some amazing pastries, Giuseppina’s is a gem!

Our favorite local bakery! Our go to for any birthday cakes, absolutely delicious! My mom has also been Gluten Free for 10+ years and has tried many GF cakes around us, the one they make here is her favorite and says you cannot even taste the difference!! Also had my wedding cake made here last year and it was so good & decorated beautifully.

After taking a trip to Europe this summer, I desperately wanted to find cute spot where I can eat a little cake and have a little coffee in the afternoon. I’m so sick of coorporate chains–their food & coffee is awful and they lack soul–so a place like Panera or Starbucks was not going to work. Enter Giuseppina’s Italian Bakery. I am SO happy to have found this place. Before I even speak to the cakes, let me just say I rarely experience such warm customer service. The woman who was there this afternoon was so welcoming and kind. I noticed there were tables inside and even a cute spot outside to sit–perfect! There were so many cake slices to choose from in the case! They all looked incredible. We decided on a slice of carrot cake and a slice of german chocolate. Both were exceptional! To have a slow moment to enjoy some coffee (they have an espresso machine!) and cake was an absolute delight. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was exactly what I was hoping for and cannot wait to come back.

My daughter and I went to order a very special cake for my husband’s birthday. The ladies there had never heard of this. I explained what it involved and they were willing to try. I have to admit, I was a bit unsure, so we drove to Boston and got one there, also. To our absolute delight, Giuseppinas cake compared and more to the Boston cake! The two ladies there really did a great job. It was sooo good and we will be customers of theirs for a long time. Thank you ladies, you went above and beyond. ⭐

Can’t say enough great things about this bakery. My husband and I had an elopement back in April and decided to walk in to Giuseppina’s to see if they would make us a simple little cake. First off, they did it with no hesitation and it was perfect. We loved the service and the cake so much we went back to have them do our cake for our actual wedding day on 6/17. The cake and cupcakes were beyond delicious and perfect. Everything went so smoothly and they accommodated us in every way. This bakery has everything you would want and more. Don’t go anywhere else but Giuseppina’s. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

I grew up getting cake from “old-fashioned” bakeries that used a buttercream recipe where it crusted on the outside (pretty sure it’s made with shortening). I had a couple bakeries where I grew up that were my go-to’s but they closed. I moved out here and haven’t been able to find a bakery with that frosting (and I’ve tried almost all the bakeries) until Giuseppina’s. I got a slice of the birthday cake today and it was exactly the way I remember the frosting to be. This will be my new go-to bakery! If you’re like me and looking for that frosting you remember from your childhood in the 80’s then try the birthday cake here (white cake, white frosting, sprinkles on top).
