In short: Cute Decor, poor acoustics, Patty melt was bussin (!!!), staff lacked knowledge, great TV visibility for sports, nice restrooms! Wouldn’t return…but will certainly reminisce on that Patty Melt

In long: There was no wait on a Thursday night. Hubby ordered the Chicken & Waffles; they looked great, but just didn’t hit. The waffle is literally the equivalent to the pantry Belgium waffles; taste, texture, room temperature and all The hostess said she’d never had the food there after working in the restaurant for a while we appreciated the honesty but we were like girrrrlllaaaaa you’re not helping the situation

Patty melt was top tier. Perfect bread, a little pink, swiss/provolone, mayo, and russian dressing on the side…yessssirrrrrrr!!!!

The server gave “almost, but not quite” lol she was super knowledgeable about a few things and seemingly clueless about everything else so it was tricky navigating the menu as first timers, but she tried her best so props to lil mama.

Foxiis is such a great spot! The service was awesome — everyone was super friendly and made me feel welcome from the start.

And the patty melt? Unreal. Perfectly cooked, cheesy, and full of flavor — easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

If you haven’t been to Foxiis yet, you’re missing out. Great food, chill vibe, and amazing people!

My wife and I don’t get to have dinner without our son that often. But this past Friday was one of those times we were able to. We usually like to try something new when it’s just us. Most parents with children who are picky eaters know why. So we found this place called Foxiis Restaurant and Bar. We checked their menu online as well as the reviews. Everything seemed to check out. We walk in and was instantly greeted by the hostess. She proceeded to take us to our table. Is was a nice day so we asked if we could sit outside. “Oh course” she said. And she directed us outside and advised us we could pick our seat. We get out there and sit down. There were two gentlemen who were out there already at the table next to us. Then they both started lighting up cigarettes and there was no escaping it. It was either move into the sun or go back inside. So we opted for the latter. We couldn’t find the original hostess, but found another young lady and she sat us inside. The waitress Heather came by and gave us our menu and took our drink order. After bring our drinks she asked if we were ready to order. Since this was our first time here we wanted to look over the menu a little more closely and she was very understanding about that. After perusing the menu for a few minutes we decided what we wanted. My wife ordered the chicken scampi linguini and I ordered to the chicken fried chicken with jalapeno gravy ( and mashed potatoes and “honey glazed” carrots. I will start with my wife’s dish. I’m not sure if the person who prepared the food that day was new and didn’t know how to cook pasta, but the linguini was so over cooked it was essentially mush. It was so bad my wife couldn’t even get through two bites of it. We were going to not say anything and just take it home. But the very wonderful waitress insisted that she take it and get her something else. She took it, but we told her we didn’t need a replacement. Now to the chicken fried chicken. I’m not sure of they bread the chicken themselves or if it came already prepared. But there zero seasoning in that batter. Just very very bland. The “jalapeno” gravy that was on the chicken and potatoes, was very misleading. To me it tasted like they just took white gravy and poured a splash of jalapeno juice in it. The actual potatoes were good once some salt and pepper was added. Now when I was looking at the menu I had noticed these “honey glazed” carrots and they sounded great. When they get to the table they are swimming in a pool of what looks like thinned out pancake syrup with some herbs sprinkled on top. I could only get through one bite of those. I was able to eat my chicken and potatoes by covering them in salt and black pepper. Like I had said, the waitress was great. Very understanding and communicable. She even took my wife’s food off of our check. Usually ( not all the time), I’m a one and done type of a guy when it comes to any bad at a restaurant. But by looking around at what other people were ordering and speaking with the waitress about her favorites, I think we might have just ordered the wrong thing. So atmosphere: good Service: Great Food: not so much. Next time we would order something different. I recommend trying something else other than what I did. But then again, your experience could be different. I will recommend it.

My wife and I went for dinner at 6pm on a Sunday.
We have been here several times over the years because the food is very good. Unfortunately we don’t come as often as we would like because the service is always very slow. When we were seated our server came out with water for us and took our orders at that time. She brought our food out in a timely manner but we never saw her again. I had to go to the bar to ask for to-go boxes and then she finally showed up and I asked for the check.
Place was not busy at all and it looked she was the only server.

The wifey found this place and wanted chicken fried steak. I was like yeah sounds good! Sounds good is an under statement! Shrimp tacos were amazing, chicken friend steak was amazing, gonna try brunch next time. Hey, it’s good, worth your time and money!

The Atmosphere is loud but that isn’t bothering me, great selection in food menú. BUT was my first time going there and one of the plate we order was salty the mash potatoes and i was??? The service is very fast and our waiter was very nice and smiling girl great imagen for the restaurant!!!

My first time and it was great, watching NFL playoffs, enjoying some drinks and food, the whole experience was amazing, great customer service, i got the shrimp tacos and they were delicious, we also tried the wings and they were great too. We are definitely coming back again

We used to go to the original location quite often and always had great service. This most recent visit (today) however was not as enjoyable. The food was great but that was about it. We had to flag someone down each time for drinks. It was like they were not paying attention and more interested in talking amongst themselves. I’m hoping this is just an off day and not the norm…

I had the best experience here. The food was amazing and affordable. It was a bar / restaurant… I kinda wish it was a little bigger. But very intimate. Almost had live music. But we left early. The food was so great! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! The taste was perfect! And I am allergic to sea food and nothing tasted sea foody. But there was tons of sea food. It really was a great experience
