Had such a fun and unique experience at Finches Sandwiches & Sundries! My daughter and I stopped in for lunch and ended up doing something totally unexpected — we got our tarot cards read while we were there. It made the visit feel extra special and gave us a great memory together.
The vibe of the place is relaxed and welcoming, and you can really feel the personality of the shop. The space is cozy and cool, with great music and super friendly people. It’s the kind of spot where you immediately feel comfortable hanging out for a while.
And the food? So good. Simple comfort food done really well. Everything tasted fresh and made with care, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their menu.
Between the great sandwiches, the laid-back atmosphere, and the fun tarot reading experience with my daughter, this place really stood out. Definitely a gem in Thunderbolt, and we’ll absolutely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved this place! The atmosphere was very fun with both outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor patio had fans which made it comfortable to sit outside, even in July weather. The service was great, he was kind and gave helpful recommendations. Most importantly, the food was delicious! The sandwiches were filling and the tater totes were seasoned to perfection. I would highly recommend visiting!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about this gem. We didn’t realize there was indoor seating one evening we wanted to come here, now we know there is outdoor seating (super fun, happy, comfy) and indoor plus a few seats at the small bar. So much care has gone i to decorating and seating options. Then there is the food! Fresh, nice portions, and lots of healthy choices if you are trying to go that direction.

Amazing atmosphere in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for lunch or a day drink. My sister and I sat out front for what seemed like hours in November with our dog. Great furniture and outdoor space and they even had blankets. They have THC drinks which was a nice surprise! A highlight from my visit to the area.

Went here for the 1st time yesterday. My siblings and I ate inside, but I definitely want to go back and sit outside when the weather is warmer and have a beer. I have never had lettuce on egg salad until I ate here. It was delicious.

What a vibe! Food is delicious. The rich girl and grilled cheese were a 10/10. But what we really loved was their house ketchup. Wild that I rave about ketchup, but that’s how good the food was. Thrilled with our random find! Finches is totally worth a stop in!
Update: we actually ended up coming again the next day with friends and they also loved it!

Such a wonderful location with lovely people! The vibe is very cozy and accommodating and the staff does a great job of treating regulars and new customers like family. The community events that Finches put on are a great time for the whole Thunderbolt community. It goes without saying, but the food is excellent. If I’m not mistaken, this is their third year in a row winning Best Sandwiches in Savannah, and it’s safe to say it’s more than earned. They are constantly updating their menu, so no seasonal menu is the same. Could not recommend more 🙂

Absolutely delicious food. The vibes are immaculate. Overall a great experience from the moment you step foot onto the property to the time you leave. It is just one of those places in Savannah that if you haven’t been to yet, you should Absolutely get here ASAP! A local business supporting other local businesses!
