Great local spot Fantastic Elk Burger and don’t forget the huckleberry ice cream for dessert. Good selection of grown-up drinks in the cooler and on tap , some hard ciders would be a nice plus . On weekends they have live music out back on the patio and the staff is always super friendly. The menu is limited but everything is very tasty & exceptionally well made – the owner/chef does most if the cooking in the kitchen. If you walk in and it looks like they’re swamped , just give them a minute to find you a seat and then the food will come out quick. Definitely recommended

Don’t judge a book by the cover.. the outside may cause you to question, but the inside atmosphere and the food are amazing! We had the elk burger and it was delicious, the wedge was a great portion and dressed perfectly. The steak fries were delicious as was the Caesar wrap.
We were able to meet Chef Santiago and had a great conversation.
This was a great stop along our way from McCall to Sun Valley- as we are visiting from the East Coast.

Decided to give it a shot, but dang the service was pretty pretentious.. let’s say bitchy. Unfortunately there is nothing on the menu for vegans, vegetarians can have an iceberg lettuce salad. They have a grilled cheese on the menu for kids but are unwilling to make one for adults, stating it is too much to ask the chefs to modify the menu and that they frown upon adults ordering off the kids menu. I would have been more than happy to pay extra for the same grilled cheese and fries that my kids got but was met with a solid no. Since most of the food comes from Sysco I don’t understand why they can’t add something like a Beyond or black bean burger, if it costs more to bring those items up then just price them more on the menu.

We stopped in on our way from Boise to McCall, my son in law & daughter were very excited to stop in again. I had a BLT/fries and a cold Coors light and it did not disappoint. I’m glad it’s not my local bc I’d be here daily;delicious.
