We came in tonight and the place was full. There was only one waitress and her name was Kelly. She was running the whole place!! She was amazing!!
Pizza was amazing!! Fresh and was so good and crispy!!
We did order the buffalo chicken dip and there was a hair in it that was from one of the new helpers. We didn’t freak out he because things just happen. Kelly made sure to take care of us!! She seriously needs a raise!!

We had a choice of seating, but seemed to be little to no air, two fans to cool the dinning area. The menu looked promising, lots of options. However the food was nothing special. Artichoke dip did not have much flavor, cheese bread was exactly that.. no true flavor. The steak and cheese was made/taste like a roast beef more than a philly. The fries were perfection. We ordered the Johnny’s white pizza and added chicken.. dont know what I was expecting with the chicken but what came on it was basically bland chopped chicken, and the pizza was definitely not a new York style pizza. Just a regular pizza. The bill came and was incredibly expensive for the quality.

Traveling from Nashville to Birmingham and stopped at Johnny Brusco’s—one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. The NY-style crust was spot on, the Johnny’s Deluxe was loaded with fresh toppings, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend for great, made-to-order pizza!

My husband found this restaurant on local flavors, so we decided to give it a try. It’s a little hard to get in and out with traffic. It was pretty busy for a weekday (dine-in and pick-up), so I took that as a good sign. The menu is a lot to take in, so it took a while to decide what to get. I ordered the house stromboli. It was completely stuffed with toppings and cheese and hot! The marinara sauce was chunky which I liked. The sprite tasted fresh. Some restaurants have flat or off tasting fountain drinks, but not here. Now the menu says the cheesecake has assorted flavors, but when we asked our server, she let us know it’s plain cheesecake. The taste was different but not in a bad way. The texture is really creamy and smooth…almost softened butter like. I’m convinced the crust is nilla wafer and not graham cracker which was a pleasant surprise! I wish there was a strawberry or maybe blueberry fruit topping.

Tried Johnny Brusco’s tonight while at work. Advertised as a New York style pizza.
Crust was crispy with a chewy center. Cheese was hot and gooey. Pepperoni was rather bland. Red sauce was sweeter than I would prefer.
Supposed to be brick oven baked but crust was very evenly cooked as an oven would cook. Unlike other brick oven pizza I have had in the past.
Overall pizza was OK with descent flavor, but pricey for a 12 inch pie. A pepperoni and a margarita pizza cost me upwards of $32 before tip.

I really enjoyed dinning in at the Johnny Brusco’s. We were greeted immediately upon entering and were sat quickly. The service was awesome and our waiter Stephen did an amazing job. We ordered veggie and cheese pizzas and they were delicious and perfectly done. I will come back here again!

My first time here, met a friend for pizza and bingo. We both ordered at the same time, my friend’s pizza was delivered to me as my order. It was not mine. I was told mine was still in the oven…..for more than 45 minutes! Then we were told they forgot to turn in my order or the cook missed it on the ticket. WHATEVER? Finally got my food midway through the Bingo game. When I approached the manager/owner he was incredibly rude. Said they were busy and that I had gotten my food and an apology. He then asked me if I owned a restaurant and had to deal with people like me?!?!?!?! I’m sorry WHAT? I work in customer service and would have never been so rude to someone who was paying to eat there. Not only that, the waitress, older lady, was also extremely rude and slow. When I tried to get her attention to order another beverage, she snapped at me and said “I see you” I will NEVER go to this place again!
And I will spread the word to anyone who will listen, as to how they treat their customers.
