This restaurant is amazing. The staff is great.The owner is very pleasant and attentive. I always get the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and saffron rice. Every time I come in there , the owner just puts my order in just because I order the same thing. Even when I call over the phone theynKnow what i’m looking for. The flavors in this meal are just amazing.I enjoy other Indian restaurants.But this by far is the best i’ve had. The atmosphere and the restaurant is great. And lucky me , it’s about two minutes for my house.

Have been going here for 15 years. The food, especially the vegetarian options, is consistently great. Visitors frequently ask for it by name whenever they are in town. I really appreciate the option to substitute tofu for paneer in some dishes, like the navratan curry. The pishori naan is also lovely and not something you find often.
Typically my family gets takeout, but we recently dined in and the staff were kind and attentive, the service was prompt, the ambiance was cozy and relaxing, and the food was excellent. In person was even better, like for the skillet presentation of tandoori salmon which the waitress informed me is wild caught – a welcome surprise and something they should perhaps advertise on the menu!

Most of the dishes are phenomenal. The chicken dishes aren’t bad, but I’ve had better. Everything else, however, is great. I’m taking off 1 star since the portions are a bit small and the price is a bit high.

This was the best discovery! We have never had Indian food. We always thought it would be too spicy. Here, if you want the spice, you let them know.
I had the Chicken Tikka $16. It was very tasty, but just a little dry. It was not overly spicy at all and probably a good first dish! (Next time, I’m going for the Tandoori Chicken.)
My husband has the Tandoori Mixed Grill $25 to try different items. He loves them all. I was not a fan of the lamb, but everything else was good.
We also tried the Nan and Garlic Nan breads. Both tasted similar. They were very light!
I would highly recommend Cafe Tandoor! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful for us first timers!

Our family of four enjoyed dining at Cafe Tandoor! The food was delicious and the servers were nice and attentive. The buttered chicken was extremely good and we all had clean plates by the end of the meal which is a rarity. Thank you, Cafe Tandoor!

The owner/ manager John was very rude and completely embarrassed me in front of a customer !! I’m very upset! I came to the restaurant on a Wednesday and there was hair in my food! I spoke with him on Friday about it bc I was sick and couldn’t speak at the time! I told him that over the phone and when I got there he went back and forth with me about having a receipt after I told him I didn’t have one! He was very unprofessional and ignorant!! I will NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

Cafe Tandoor is pretty solid as far as local Indian restaurants go. The food is quite tasty, especially (and perhaps unsurprisingly) the tandoor dishes. I’ve never seen biryani served with a heavy, creamy curry sauce before, but it was also good (if a bit odd). Service and prices are so-so (be forewarned: you do have to pay extra for rice, which is rather strange). One of the best things about the restaurant is that the kitchen is actually capable/willing to adjust spice levels all the way from true “gringo mild” to ultra-fiery (be sure to put the TP in the freezer for tomorrow morning).
