The male cashier needs to work on his customer service. Beware that this ain’t Gramma soul food it’s more of a Caribbean fusion. I had small collard greens to try out and a small candied yam.both were edible won’t be repurchasing though. I ordered my son three chicken tenders and fries for the kids meal and the cashier struggled taking my order. I actually witnessed the struggle with a few other orders as well. When he gave me my food he didn’t give me my soda. I also asked him a question about their Mac and cheese and he responded that I have to pay for it. That showed that his listening skills are not good. The woman cashier was nicer. She offered to let me try it but I was not trying to get anything free from them. I recommend you go there if you like and hopefully your experience is better than mine.

The fish was very good…cooked to order and seasoned just right!!! The Mac n cheese, cabbage, and shrimp were OK. The customer service could be a lot better with just a smile .

Amazing experience here. I got the steak and cheese sandwich and a fresh fruit smoothie. The food was so delicious. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is nice. Felicia’s Woodridge Kitchen is definitely worth the visit!

The Food was better when it was The Golden Skillet!!!
Don’t get me wrong, the atmosphere of the Felicia Woodridge Kitchen was very low-key and chill. The Hostess/ Cashier was very nice and has good customer service.
I just wish the taste quality of the food reflects that..I have to be honest with my review!!!!
Soul Food without proper seasoning just doesn’t sit well with me..Cooks definitely need to be experienced and know why it’s called soul food in the first place.. because of flavor and seasoning. Also, let me give y’all a Soul Food 101 lesson, baked macaroni and cheese is exactly what the name says; Baked like a pie. Not loose like it’s Kraft!!
Plus, it’s just Overpriced for no reason at all!!
I give this place a hard Pass!!!
Hopefully, they will improve in the flavor and preparation of the food..
But for now; Meh!!!!!!

I just moved to DC. This was my 1st time visiting this place & it wasn’t disappointing. I ordered the turkey wings w/ Mac & cheese and yams. My mom ordered chicken w/collard greens & yams. I didn’t care for the mac at all, but everything else was tasty. The mac was a little to loose for my liking.

I finally stepped in here since I wanted to taste their fried chicken I’ve heard about and ordered a 4-piece Wings w/ Fries. The wings are cooked fresh, they were pretty damn tasty (not greasy) , and the fries were good & seasoned just right!!!#GootEats

Nasty ! Don’t come here !!! I bought two piece whiting with two sides and a kids meal for damn near $30. The mash potatoes are gross and sweet and the Mac is inedible. Everything has a random sweetness to it. Not to mention a 6 piece chicken nugget kids meal is $12 . Not worth the wait or my money.

I’ve been going there for some time before and after their renovation. I just went there for chicken wings……the best fried wings in this area hands down. This place used to be Golden Skillet and they fry their wings in peanut oil. You will not be disappointed. The rest of the food has always been good…..and the renovations provide a great ambience for this part of the city. As stated before, the wings are a home run!!!!

Good food, good service… A bit more pricey than your typical carryout but it’s worth it. They also give nice serving sizes on the sides. The greens are bomb, but the mashed potatoes aren’t that good without the gravy. I was a little disappointed they didn’t have any cornbread the last time I went though.
