A sub-$14 burrito in San Diego?! The Fajita Burrito was huge, delicious, with an awesome soft fresh flour tortilla, and awesome salsas (green + orange is where it’s at). No idea why this spot doesn’t have a higher rating. Highly recommend!

This place has very good authentic Mexican good. I had the veggie burrito with avocado, rice, beans, cheese, sour cream and who knows what else. All I know is that it was extremely good. I accidentally had the ‘Salsa Chucho’ which is apparently very spicy. For all you people who can eat spicy, I would definitely recommend this sauce for you guys. It’s available complimentary at the salsa area which is by the register. Overall, definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for legit Mexican food in San Diego.

I have been eating here about three times a week since I moved into the neighborhood six months ago. Foods decent not great. The normal lady that works the counter is really nice. Tonight I went in and placed my order for eating there. The lady at the counter said they weren’t allowing dine in. It was 8:06 p.m. and they close at 9:00 but she said she wanted to clean. I canceled my order and left. You can be sure I will never be back.

The best nachos we’ve ever had. All of the food was good, but the nachos were a standout. Flavorful and tender carnitas with a good proportion of the other ingredients (guacamole, refried beans, cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, etc.) spread throughout the chips instead of just dumped on top.
The service was quick and friendly. Good prices. Excellent salsa bar. Be aware that there are no public restrooms and parking can be tight.
The fish tacos and shrimp tacos both have a lot of cabbage. You almost can’t taste the shrimp or fish. Pull some off and make a salad with it. The fish seemed more flavorful than the shrimp.

I have been coming her for 5 years. They use to have an awesome salsa bar. But no more. They use to give a plastic cup for water. But no more. I asked if this place was under new management, she said no. She blamed customers for “breaking” the water. She said you have to bring your own cup for water and fill it at the hand washing station or buy a bottle of water. She said they will never get cups for water again. Owner, if you are reading this, please spend the extra money in investing the basics. I understand that times are tough and you probably can’t afford a salsa bar, that’s fine, but being too cheap to offer cups for water is a little too much. Take a look at JT Thai next door. They have a big container of water and their water is the cold and actually very good. Thanks for reading.
Reply: I understand the issue about the salsa bar. I don’t prefer to drink sugary drinks with Mexican food. Please ask J&T Thai how they manage to continue to provide water for their customers, they can give you pointers.

Potatoes were undercooked. Beans tasted like they were from a can. Not authentic Mexican food waste of $60. I would not recommend.

Love coming here for breakfast that tastes homemade without all the work on my part! Great portions, pricing is fair, taste is delicious, and everything comes out fresh and hot. Their carne asada is also some of the best I’ve had. It’s tender and very flavorful. Their salsa options are basic with green, red, and a spicier green salsa that are very tasty. Cashiers are always friendly and helpful. Only downside to this place is parking. Most of the spaces are marked 20min parking.

Used to love coming to this place. Was glad to hear they opened back up! Sad to say the burritos used to fill me up with the size they had. Now they are over priced for the size burrito you get. Not worth the $14 price tag. Down the street more bang for your buck.
