Extremely disappointed… 2nd time I order fried mushrooms and there was a hair in them but he time!!! Talk about gross! They replaced my mushrooms with a different appetizer and it had jalapenos! I don’t eat any spicy food and when the manager asked the waitress what the problem was he rolled his eyes at her when she told him I don’t eat hot sauce!! Talk about rude!! Our waitress was really nice but when she took it back all the cook did was remove the jalapenos-seriously!!! So much for finding a spot to go eat!!! Not coming back-then they won’t take the charges off forcing you to get something else!!

We came in to celebrate my little brother, making his communion. The service started out very attentive and then declined throughout the time we were there. We ordered fish tacos, 1 single quesadilla, which was not cooked properly, and then a fajita botana for 4. The botana actually allowed us to feed five and tasted good, but they forgot our charro beans. When we got the beans, they were luke warm and not very tasty. The table ordered 3 waters and 4 half n half teas. The staff was not attentive in refilling our cups, and all of us at some point were sitting there for about five minutes trying to flag down a waitress to get refills. We finished eating and then came time to pay the bill for the 7 people in our party. Just to have full disclosure, a 15% gratuity is added automatically, which is understandable. I brought to the attention of the woman charging me that the 1.99 quesadilla was not eatable and that if she could please remove it from my bill. The woman replied, “I’m sorry, but it’s company policy that we have to charge you anyway,” I was like really even though it was not made correctly and not eaten, she said, “It’s because of the cooks this is the third time this has happened but we have to charge you anyway”. She then proceeded to tell me that as it is, she should be charging me double because of the half n half tea that we ordered. I asked, the tea is 3.99, and you are telling me you would be charging me like 6.00 because it’s half sweet and half un-sweet? The woman said it’s company policy, and that’s why we have these papers on the other side of the register so we can know how to charge. I told her that the price should be listed on your menu because then you are false advertising your prices. I informed her this would be the first and last time we would be eating at this restaurant because of their service and false advertisement in the menu prices.

The service was good and the restaurant was clean. The workers were nice.Elegant decorations, and the food was “made from home” quality. Will definitely be coming back and recommend this place to anyone looking for good food.

Nice hometown dinner. A little bit of everything. The burger was great…handpressed and no frozen patty here.
Carne guisada was soft and flavorful

R food was nasty. The fajita plate was like left overs just some minni pieces of fajita. Ordered fish and shrimp and they didn’t have any kind of Tabasco sauce.

The service has greatly improved lately. My family and I had stopped eating here for that reason, but I think we may start coming back more frequently. Glad to see the improvement because I prefer to support my local businesses when I can.

Update: The food was great and everything was perfect. They put everything the way I asked. Thank you great place, nice service.

The food was really good, the only thing is they got a little bit of my order wrong with my botana, the fish one. I’m not sure how to say it but it was only supposed to be fajita and they mixed it. Other than that everything was great. I wish I could have had some more cheesy chip bean thingy. But everything was really good. I would totally buy here again and just try to make sure I get my order correctly.

Ordered a large Caldo Talpeño and I was horribly disappointed! The cook refused come to my table so I could explain to him that he filled the bowl with rice and a tiny bit of shredded chicken. I love soups, however this large bowl had 98% rice & 2% shredded chicken & chipotle broth that was not flavorful. I paid 11.99 for mostly rice See a close up of my plate! They refused to return the soup that I only ate 1/8 of it. I do not recommend this plate to anyone! Sadly they didn’t even offer anything else to replace my uneaten meal. Enter at your own risk. I definitely will not be returning to this local place and I live in town.
