A small and cozy Thai restaurant! Highly recommended if you’re craving Thai food. You’ll find dishes that are tender yet still capture the essence of the food. We started with fried soft crab, and for our main course, we ordered the Coconut Paradise and the Eggplant with Beef entree. The eggplant dish was a perfect blend of tender eggplant and beef, pairing perfectly with white rice. The Coconut Paradise was served in real coconut, which really whetted my appetite. I’d love to try their other dishes next time. Oh, and thanks to the friendly staff’s recommendations, we enjoyed our meal. If you’re unfamiliar with Thai food, I recommend asking the staff for recommendations.

I came here for lunch with a friend who visits the restaurant frequently. As soon as we stepped in, the owner was very welcoming and made all the customers feel special and satisfied.
I ordered the fried rice with chicken. It was extremely delicious, I couldn’t stop eating! My friends also were happy with their food selections as well. The portions are generous and decently priced considering the area.
This is located in the back across from Qdoba. There is some outdoor seating shared by other businesses, but not outdoor service exclusive to this restaurant.
Would I return? Absolutely.

Found this place randomly on google map because of its high rating, and I was so glad to give it a try.
The food was amazing and very fresh. We ordered crispy duck, papaya salad, boat noodle soup, and the dish called sea food in wonderland. Everything was so delicious and the portions were perfect for my whole family. Must try crispy duck and boat noodle soup, can’t get disappointed of that.
I also loved the service. The staffs were so attentive, took time to explain the menu for us, and super friendly-which I really appreciated. They even surprised us with complimentary coconut ice cream at the end. I’ll definitely be coming back for that.

I visited Thaitastic today and just missed the timing for their Lunch Special, so had to opt for a dinner- sized portion. I ordered their Drunken Noodles with chicken and beef. The dish tasted good but it didn’t seem like it was anything extraordinary or special to specifically come back for at this restaurant. Service was good, though the restaurant itself is very small, somewhat cramped and may be more suited for pick up only, and the atmosphere didn’t really have any appeal. Thank you

Not sure who was working the kitchen on the night of March 1st, but they must have had a very bad night. We have loved ordering from here and usually enjoy our food very much. But, our pickup order was actually disgusting tonight. Like, to the point we gagged and just threw it away.

loved drunken noodles must try. chicken satay and basil fried rice are delicious too . we ordered tom kha soup which is okay but prepared as per our request. we didnt like mango sticky rice as rice seems to be little undercooked but flavour is right. Overall very good experience visiting here for the first time. this place is affordable and cozy. service is really good and welcoming.

Thaitastic is by far the best Thai restaurant in Northern Virginia. We’ve been there many times and the food and service is consistently excellent.
The staff is very attentive, but unobtrusive. Pat and Tanya, who are always there on the weekends, are the best! They remember that we always get iced tea, always bring me the hot pepper carousel, and just make us feel very special.
The ingredients are fresh and every dish we’ve had is best in class. Everyone we’ve taken there agrees.
The restaurant is cozy, meaning, there are few tables. Expect a wait on weekends. We tend to go late afternoon and have never had to wait. When we’ve gone prime time, we’ve had to wait 1+ hours. But, it’s well worth the wait.
There are so many good dishes, it’s hard to single one out. My go-to Thai is Drunken Noodles and they’re among the best I’ve had anywhere — not just Northern Virginia.
Kaosoi Gai is fantastic as is the Coconut Paradise (served in a coconut) and Crying Tiger. Everything is top notch there.

I went to Thaitastic today with my family, and from the moment we walked in, the service was amazing we felt genuinely welcomed right away. The food was phenomenal. It’s safe to say this is the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time, and it will definitely be our new go-to spot for family Thai dinners. Peter and team were great!
The prices were also very reasonable under $100 for four extremely filling dishes. We ordered the green curry, drunken noodles, crying tiger, basil fried rice, and coconut ice cream. The coconut ice cream was insanely good, honestly one of the best I’ve had locally.
I can’t recommend this place enough definitely check it out!

The weekday lunch specials are an amazing value and treat. Hubby and I got pad thai and curry. He got a spring roll and I got two pot stickers. We both opted for chicken as our protein and requested mild. Dishes are prepared to order and served steaming hot. Bits of peanut decorated our flavorful pad thai. We wound up getting a red and a green curry that were slightly spicier than expected but each of us enjoyed one over the jasmine rice provided. The vegetarian spring roll and pot stickers were crispy and came with dipping sauce. Service was excellent. The 18 seats inside were full while we were there and others ate outside.
