I’ve been here a few times (mostly out of lack of options nearby) and have never been impressed. It’s small, dirty, overpriced and the COVID modifications make the atmosphere cringy. This time we ordered food for dine in and to go. The dine in food was the same as usual, nothing impressive and overpriced for a small town and compared to similar restaurants. The to go order however, was a disaster. One of the people I was taking food to has Celiacs, so their food could not touch the other persons to go order (whom ordered flour soft shell tacos). The waiter simply could not grasp the concept or didn’t care and not because of a language barrier as he said he understood and spoke excellent english. He brought the 2 to go orders out mixed together and when I pointed out the mix up, it was obvious that they just moved the tacos around in the containers to how they needed to be to begin with…which is completely not acceptable after I did my due diligence to make sure he understood the seriousness of not cross contaminating the orders. If you have any kind of allergy or dietary restrictions do not eat here. They obviously just don’t care ‍♀️.

Unpretentious Mexican restaurant set in a little strip shopping area with other restaurants. There are a wide variety of dishes available reasonably priced. Portions are generous. I ordered the seafood burritos and had enough to take home for another meal. Staff is friendly. There’s adequate parking available.

Great restaurant. I was traveling through the area last week and this place has some authentic mexican flavors, and portions were very good for the money. I had the Mexican style steak and it was fantastic. This place is a hidden gem and I am surprised to find it in such a small town.

We at at Si Señor today as we were driving through Iowa on a road trip to Kansas City. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. We even had an issue with an allergy (my kid is allergic to peas, we didn’t know there would be peas in the Mexican rice) and he took care of it right away! No problems or grief about it!
