Our server was pleasant, courteous, very professional didn’t get her name and I never asked. Brought the beverages while I pondered on what to order. Settled on the fish and chips only to find it’s premade frozen ☹️. So back to the menu it was. Its a menu with good variety. I’m just a picky eater. So we ordered the cheese curds while I tried to make up my mind. Was it going to be a burger? No. They all come with bacon. A wrap? Hmm maybe Pizza? I looked over the shadowbox jersey which desperately needed to be fixed its seen better days sorry ♀️. After what probably seemed like seemed like an excruciating long time for me to make up my mind. The server smiled as I ordered a wrap with the house made onion rings. (Upgrade sales are always a bonus! ) I was excited
The cheese curds came out piping hot we choose the marinara sauce and when I say hot I mean hot I mean like outta the fryer hot like burn the roof of your mouth hot . I had 3 only 3, they were crispy, crunchy, cheesy but holy smokes they were salty. Like water I need water salty! Call the ambulance salty cuz my blood pressure is about to blow salty
So I quietly waited for the wrap and those home battered upgraded onion rings oh the anticipation was killing Me.
I wasn’t timing anything honestly but the food came out quick. The pizza was a specialty pepperoni. It looked great. And by the looks of the wrap it was pleasing but the onion rings no…. not my upgrade order of (5) onion rings. My heart kinda sank. And finally hit the floor after the first bite. . It was over right there. They were overcooked to someone’s perfection (apparently not mine but probably the cook’s). The crunch of the deep color of over brewed coffee fried batter broke into pieces with this thin strip of onion that fell somewhere between the plate and my lap. I was amazed at the level of talent it must have taken to batter one thin ring of onion with that much precision It must have taken years for the person at the fryer. Good job I silently sighed in my head.
The pizza well let’s talk pizza. It was perfect. The right balance of copious amounts of pepperoni to make a more than my lips burn from the spice but pleasing to the other guest so that was a win/win for Team Tin Shed Tavern and Pizza!
Over all it’s a hidden pizza joint with simple accommodations casual laid back atmosphere with food that fits some people’s palette better than others. Like mine.
Would I come back. Sure why not. For pizza most definately. And the 8 Dollar root beer soda
Came in during a weekday a little after 7pm, seeing a couple people in, enjoying the food and a game on the TV. The space is actually a good sized venue for large groups.
Greeted right away by a friendly wait staff and suggested drinks, getting them within a few minutes. Ordered their tried and true Tin Shed Original Deluxe, along with loaded fries.
Food came out hot. Pizza crust had a nice chew, along with the crispy crust. Cheese had a nice pull and ingredients went great together. Would order this pizza again for my family. The fries were over salted but it was okay; could do without the salt since it already has cheese and bacon.
My first experience was fine and I would visit again to try other items.
Had another Tecmo Super Bowl tourney at Tim Shed and the place is amazing!! Everyone is so helpful and makes the experience a fun by all. I had people from all over the US for the tourney from far away as LA and Ohio to Iowa, WI, ND, and WI and everyone thought the service, the care, and the food were all amazing. Each year I am glad we have a place like this goes above and beyond to make it a fun day for me and my friends.
8/15/2022: Had another Tecmo Super Bowl this year and once again the staff and customer service was top notch. Ashley, Brie, and the rest of the staff helped make the experience amazing. They were very helpful with getting us drinks and food and very courteous to us. I would highly recommend have a birthday party, or event there for a good time. Once again I can’t thank Brian the owner enough for allowing us to do this every year and will continually go there for dining as well. Thanks again!
8/12/2020: This place is the best! I have hosted two Tecmo Super Bowl Tournaments there and their hospitality and generosity is off the scale. Amy, the manager brings a home atmosphere to the place and even knew most of the players names by heart by the end. She continually went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. I couldn’t have found a better place. Their pizza and sandwiches are great and they have a good drink selection. If you ever are in the Savage area stop by you won’t be disappointed.
