Blue soft serve, dole whip, sundaes…it’s like all the good things in life in one place at prices that have somehow escaped inflation! The only downside is that it’s a walk up so they’re only open in the summer. If they ever decide to make it a year round thing, I doubt they’d hurt for customers!

Excellent menu includes Cincinnati Blue creamy whip, inspired by the King’s Island Smurf confection of the 1980’s. Also noted the walking taco salad with Frito or Doritos option. Friendly walk up service, parking around the corner.

Depreciation Nation
Deer Park is full of throwbacks to the 80s and 90s and this is yet another. Outdoor ice cream stand with prices that have been untouched by inflation. Old world charm with quality food. Teenagers deliver excellent service at a price that won’t break the bank. Grab dinner next door at Italianette and swing by the dipper for desert. No complaints… this place is chock full of nostalgia!

Awesome local soft-serve ice cream shop with some unique menu items. A little neighborhood gem. The banana split is especially delish. They do a good job with safety, too, and patrons seem eager to give each other plenty of space. There are picnic tables just up the street to sit at, too.

We drive from Madeira to this place – it’s a great ice cream place for selection and price. They do offer a handful of snack items beyond the ice cream items. This is a walk-up place with no bathroom access. There are 4 benches on the sidewalk or just walk to the end of the block where there’s a park with picnic tables. For parking note that you should not use The one across the street (risk being towed) – there is a free lot a half block further from the shoppe. This is right beside italianette pizzeria so you have the option of ordering your pizza and having some ice cream while you wait!

This place is great & even better than The Cone, which was there years before. They have plenty of options, including slushie floats, and it’s very affordable. You get a lot for your money. This is becoming one of our ice cream destinations for the summer!

A nice little place to have a nice dip of ice cream, soft serve, banana boat, hot dog, or whatever you are looking for on a summer day. They do take credit cards, so you can rest assured that you can have a sweet treat without stopping at an atm first.
