I’ll start by saying the staff was nice, but at the end of the day people come for the food, not just the service. Unfortunately, the food was a letdown. The selection was extremely limited, especially considering the price, and much of what was available was dry, crusty, and clearly had been sitting out too long.
The dessert area was honestly concerning. Desserts were just sitting in boxes, completely unorganized, and some looked expired or at least well past fresh. I took a piece of tiramisu and it felt nothing like actual cake — it literally felt like a squishy toy in my hand and was weirdly indestructible. It was off-putting enough that I couldn’t eat it.This buffet didn’t feel very well thought out.
Overall, it didn’t feel worth what we paid, and I left disappointed. If you’re looking for a buffet experience that’s actually worth the money, your best bet is Panda Buffet in Mankato.

The food was ok but not worth the visit. $82+ to feed 2 adults and 4 kids. Its expected sometimes for a buffet with great food and great service. You have to seat yourself, and get your own drinks and refill yourself too. There is odd signs and weird things to help slack on cleaning. Example there is plastic cling wrap on the buffet counter where customers get sauce…. The food tasted ok, but there was some old food out empty food, and we were the only ones eating in the restaurant at 2pm on a Sunday…. should have noticed that red flag, but we have it a shot. I would not recommend this as a place to eat.

Worst restaurants experience Ive ever had. Ive worked the food industry for over two decades so I have experienced every tough day possible. I truly understand the difficulty in keeping everything to any level of professional standard while serving the public. That being said, the level of blatant underpermance I witnessed here was mind blowing.

The food is very old and has been sitting for hours to get that dry and disgusting. I used to enjoy going to this buffet, and loved all the food. I am not sure what has happened, but this place has definitely gone downhill. I would not suggest anyone eat here at all, for any reason. Unless you want to visit the local hospital as well…

My impressions of the food were like a roller coaster. It was nice not having chicken in every dish like some Chinese restaurants. The mushrooms must have been soaked in water since they were very watery. It was nice to have the string beans and the fried rice was above average.

Let me start by saying I try my best to leave way more positive reviews than negative ones. Just went here for lunch today (12:45). Pros: it was clean (for the most part, there were fruit flies all over the dessert table tho). Cons: food was terrible. I tried multiple forms of chicken, an egg roll, both fried and white rice, noodles. Everything I ate was barely warm, and lacked in quality and flavor. The fried rice tasted as if it sat in the warmer over night and got re heated (barely). It had zero flavor and was old. The quality of the chicken was honestly disturbing, grizzly, and chewy plus more breading than chicken. The noodles also were just bad, flavorless and seemed old also. The egg roll was the most edible thing on my plate. I sat and waited to see if they would bring out fresh stuff and they did refill the fried rice and a few other things I did not want to try. I tried the “fresh” fried rice and it was still bad. I went for regular white rice and that had an odor of dawn dish soap. My son tried the chocolate pudding and he said it tasted funny (he is 5) so I had to try it and it tasted as if it was made with spoiled milk. This place is NOT it. From luke warm & cold food, flavorless and quality down right terrible. Sorry for being brutally honest ! I will not be back. Ever.

Brought my mother here for lunch. She had the buffet. I have a special diet, so I ordered off the takeout menu and they kindly let me eat in. My mother enjoyed the food very much, they had all the familiar favorites. My takeout order was hot, fresh, flavorful, and the vegetables were cooked very well.
Good value for the price. I will gladly eat here again.
