I have lived in Morristown for a few years, but somehow missed this spot and I regret it. Went in and had the best doughnut I’ve ever had in my life and the tastiest pizza. A bit of a hole in the wall kind of place, but the food was great. We had breakfast sandwiches and donuts. The sandwiches were tasty and very substantial. I ate one at 9am and was good until sometime in the afternoon, even after a hike in the woods. We took the donuts to go, since we were full. The donuts were fresh and delicious. Also had a biscotti which was very good. The only weak spot in this place is the coffee.

Excellent donuts. Had raspberry jam, glazed, cannoli, and Boston cream. Ate the glazed hot which was insane. A great deal per donut too at $2.50-3 per. Loved the lady working there. She was a trip. Egg and cheese sandwich was great too. Loved the traditional bakery feel of the place. Will be back. Recommended to order ahead since they are made to order. I didn’t do this but didn’t think to.

This year, instead of a new place, I found an old one @verrillispizzaandbakery in #MorristownNJ. Wow! Verrilli’s has been there since 1898. This small family business serves breakfast , lunch and dinner but today I am here for their “Spudnuts” which are delicious made to order doughnuts . We happened to go when church ⛪️ was about to begin so traffic was crazy . It was so worth it. The #Spudnuts were delicious. The staff was so friendly and familiar that I’m going to check my #AncestryDNA to see if our paths cross . I’m going to have to come back with Joe to try some more hearty stuff. . #Verrillis #BigDudesBigFoods

First let me say the woman working the counter was amazing she was so sweet and attentive we loved her. Second we tried almost all the donuts and each one was amazing. We will definitely be back. The cannoli donut was by far my favorite. I can’t believe we’ve never been here. I cant wait to try their breakfast and other pastries. Hands down one of the best donuts I’ve ever had.

So happy to have found this awesome little bakery. Only dipped my foot in the pool with an assortment of cookies that made my whole family happy, my 2yr old especially liked the raspberry filled cookie with rainbow sprinkles. Can’t wait to try some of the potato donuts and other menu items!

I cannot wait go go back to try the Pizza here. If it is anything like the Baked goods, it will be a home run. I heard of this place like an urban legend, but have never had the chance to experience. I was able to learn some of the 125 year History and found it to be really interesting. This was the place to be following church as everyone was all dressed up in their Sunday Best. The place was so up beat and everyone who came through the doors was nicer than the next. Just a great place to be. I ordered a few donuts that came out hot and were as fresh as can be. Would be harder pressed to find a better donut in the County. Looking forward to my next visit for Pizza. Great Job Verillis.
