My son and I drove to Sugar Grove to visit the community college and decided to stop in here for dinner. We felt a bit under dressed when we walked in, but that did not seem to be an issue. The interior was really nice. We were seated right away, and our server was very attentive.
We started with calamari for an appetizer. It was fantastic. When it was time for dinner, my son had the fish and chips, while I had the brat burger. I have to say, both meals were really good. We do plan to come back and try other items on the menu. The French Onion soup was also really good.
Next time we visit, we’re going to try the parmesan crusted grouper and bone in short rib.

Had Italian beef sandwich and Greek chicken kabobs, both were tasty with plenty leftovers for the next day. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Next time we may eat outside at the lovely patio.

Stopped by on Sunday evening for a quick bite in the way home. First time visit. Seated right away as it was not very busy. Server was quick and attentive. Food came out very quick. Steak sandwich was big and plenty for dinner. Slight up charge for gluten free bun for my wife’s chicken sandwich but that is the new normal. The sides, fries and curds were good, but not as warm as they should have been. All in all it fit our hunger needs.

This is a solid bar food place. My beef wick was excellent! Lots of beef and it was tender. People really liked there burgers. My side salad was good. The cheese curds were salty. Service was excellent

A true hidden gem!
Love love looooved our bartender and the decor was surprisingly SUPER cute. I was not expecting this in sugar grove for some reason. It’s actually nicer than the other location I’ve previously been to.
The steak nachos and chili are a MUST.
I loved the Back to Basics Old Fashioned and apple whiskey margarita.
Only complaint was the menu pricing didn’t match what they actually charged… so I would just say work on that so there is nothing people can complain about. Don’t add extra hidden fees to the cocktails without communication.
Will definitely be back as the food, drinks, and customer service were all on point.
I can’t wait to try the key lime pie next time and I’m excited to see the patio in the summer/fall.

Beautiful atmosphere. Very welcoming front entrance area with lots of seating and a huge bar. Dining room off to the side along with high tops around the bar. Plenty of TVs and nicely decorated. The nachos are awesome and huge portions as we ordered the half order. Burger was great, nice and hardy at 10oz. Buffalo chicken sandwich was also a large portion and tasty along with the curds. Definitely a modern and upscale place to hangout for the game or enjoy a nice dinner. Service was great and food came out even as they were busy on a Thursday evening. Would go back.

Great experience with friends. The remodel turned out great, much LARGER on the inside than expected. Nice, quaint outside seating area, too. Staff is very nice. Menu is great. Must try the key lime pie. The grouper was amazing my friend had… Chicken Parm was great and the portions are large.
Have to say my favorite thing was the CREAM OF ONION SOUP!!
Plenty of parking in the back. Dining room area sections are large and easy for large groups to gather!
