In quest to try new spots the family went here. Its ala cart style menu thats posted on wall. No servers, however the staff does bring meals to you after you order. The kids got walking tacos which wasnt a big hit. All three kids said it tasted weird. So i tried them and boy it did taste weird. Like a bland taco meat flavor idk. My food was okay but a bit dry and bland. The wife loved hers. Guacamole was great chips were on hard side.

I started coming here 24 years ago when they were in a truck on that property, & LOVED it! I did not like Mexican food that much prior & after eating the quesadilla pastor with their semi hot, yet FABULOUS salsa verde; I was HOOKED! Moved to Denver, CO for about 11 years, tried a LOT of trucks, mom & pop places that were decent, yet NOT ONE compared to this, & no one could make their salsa verde!! Came back a few years ago to still see them here, & it’s still AWESOME! I chatted with some of the family that owned it, and they are still really nice people as well. I HIGHLY recommend you try it as, you won’t find anything close, not unless they have someplace in MX that’s similar. I’ve already had some in Juarez &

This place is really good. Coming from the midwest, I thought it would be rough finding authentic Mexican food. Well, this hit the spot, from the delicious al pastor to the very flavorful menudo. They added so much tripe to the soup I was blown away. Mid west, they add hominy to menudo and less meat. Fantastic authentic Mexican food I will definitely be a regular while I’m in iowa.

What a selection! Every type of meat is available including goat. Tacos are simply meat and cilantro with sauce. Quality ingredients. Will be back to try the many other plates. Dining area is sparse with cafeteria style seating.

Foods great. Authentic is the best. Staff is very friendly. My only complaint is having to pay $5 for a small portion of chips and salsa that is free before every meal at other non chain Mexican restaurants. The steak street tacos are awesome.
