So far my mom and I have been there twice and the food was on point both times. The fish and chips and the double burger where both awesome. My mom said the bread is a little dense for a burger but still really good. We would definitely eat here again

The Alley was a great experience. I was in town for work and wanted to find a local spot. Polite, engaging employees. Clean restaurant. Unique menu. I got the Dumpster Burger. My friend got the Alley Chili Cheese Dog. Tots all around. The burgers buns were AMAZING!! Pepsi products. Quick service. The dining room was small. The price was a little steep, but worth it for the experience.

Stopped in for lunch after a long weekend at the lake. So pleased that we did!! Right from the moment we walked in, service was outstanding. We were greeted with a pleasant “hello and welcome” by a guy with a great smile. We were impressed with all the creative and tasty menu options. It was almost hard to decide on what we wanted, but settled for a couple double Dumpster burgers, tots, onion rings, coleslaw, and mozzarella sticks. It arrived quickly and smelled amazing! I was very pleased with the coleslaw, it wasn’t limp, had a flavorful but light dressing, and the small was enough to share. The burgers were delicious too! The meat had flavor, was perfectly cooked, and tasty. Everything else was great too. The same guy who took the orders spent time going table to table asking customers how their meals were tasting, unlike other quick diners where you pay, get your food, eat and go. It was nice. Portions were big for the prices, and not at all short on taste. Looking forward to the next time we’re up in the area so we can try out other menu items.

I really wanted to like this place. They have a lot of things going for them. The service was good. The bun for my burger was fine. Even the cheese was good. Sadly, the one part that wasn’t good was the meat. It had been overcooked so that it tasted like leather. It ruined the burger and there wasn’t any choice to have it cooked less. I got the Alley Burger. It is 1/3 of a pound. If you want more you have to add another 1/3 pound patty. They don’t have a half pound option sadly. Strangely the bun is rectangular and the patties are round so they don’t really fit well.
Some have remarked that the fries are greasy, something that I’m not a fan of. I found these to be slightly greasy but not too bad. They weren’t great fries, but they were OK. I wish they had milkshakes.
There are several other burger places in town that are better. I really wanted to like this place. Hopefully, they will cook their burgers less so they don’t taste like your shoe. Then I’ll be willing to come back.

Local burger joint that I like so much. They bake fresh roll here. My favorite is Brown sugar bacon burger and sweet potato fries. Iced tea with lemon wedge after hard working out in the warm day was heavenly. The staff was friendly. I’d come back here repeatedly.

Food was greasy, but delicious. I had the Tropical burger which was loaded with flavor. But there are simpler menu items, too. Service and pricing also good – solid 4 stars all around.

A perfect menu with the right amount of options. Just about something for everyone. I ordered the brown sugar bacon burger and garlic fries and it was delicious! They freshly make the buns themselves. The burger was cooked perfectly, still juicy, the bacon was very sweet and also cooked perfectly. (Soft, not a rock hard crunch) The pineapple chutney was an interesting idea, and it gave the burger a sweet tangy taste. Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. The garlic were good, real chunks of garlic, not just a garlic powered poured over. The person I was with, ordered the grilled cheese and coleslaw, when she first pulled it appart the cheese stretched and stayed connected for about a foot! The coleslaw had a great first taste. But they do use celery seed, which leaves a weird after taste for me. But most people love celery seed, so that’s just a me thing. They also have a draft root beer on tap! It had an amazing flavor. A little pricey, but worth it because it was fresh. When we were close to finishing the meal, the chef came out and asked us how it was. It felt personal. Over all, an amazing place and I will be coming back!

I got the Hawaiian burger. Big, juicy and delicious. The pineapple was whole and grilled, not that canned stuff. So big I couldn’t put it in my mouth. Delicious pesto suace and avocado. Staff was friendly. Nice hole in the wall vibe.

Great local eatery. Simple menu, fresh ingredients. Delicious food. Look forward to trying more items. The bacon burger was cooked just right, and the fries were crisped perfectly. The Lost Coast Rootbeer was worth the extra price.
