Finally made it to ‘Sushi Erika’ and sat at the counter and honestly, it was one of those meals you wish you could bottle up and come back to. No hype, no theatrics, just pure craft, flow, and serious respect for the product. The quality of the fish, the precision, the calm rhythm of the place. Everything felt intentional.

If you care about real sushi, not the show, not the scene, but the craft and the quality, this is where your money should go. Period. This place deserves all the business in the world and they’re definitely going to need a bigger space one day.

Coming from someone who works in a serious sushi restaurant, I tip my hat. Truly special.

Standouts: Mori roll, tako karaage, battera roll, scallop, hamachi belly, aji, Mexican uni, torched scallop with truffle & yuzu.

The freshest fish and the most authentic sushi in Miami. Sushi Erika is the closest thing to the sushi I had in Japan. Every bite reflects the quality, care, and tradition behind real Japanese sushi. There is nothing like Sushi Erika in Miami, a true hidden gem and a must-visit for any sushi lover.

Sushi Erika is the real deal!!! Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and full of flavor— We ordered Rainbow Roll, Dragon Roll, Supernova, Bonsai, and North Bay. They were all delicious!! Yoel, our sushi chef, was awesome. He recommended the JR Roll, and it did not disappoint. It was the best one by far!!

Great vibe, top-quality fish, and solid service. Can’t wait to go back!

My sister found this amazing place through reviews, and we finally visited it on Sunday!

Sushi Erika is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. It is a small, clean, and inviting space. The parking spots are labeled with the restaurant’s name.

Upon entry, there is a waiting list where you must write your name, arrival time, and seating preference (bar, table, or either).

We waited a little before getting seats at the bar. We ordered a wakame salad, a rainbow roll, a dragon roll, a bonsai roll, a supernova roll, and a North Bay roll.

Amazing! Everything was bursting with flavor, incredibly fresh, and expertly prepared! We arrived hungry, but by the end of the meal, we were left craving even more! It was simply that extraordinary!

We asked Yoel, our sushi chef, and he recommended the JR roll. OMG! It’s the best one!

Coming back!!

Small and cozy Japanese food where you should go for what’s not offered elsewhere. I recommend you pick what you’ve never tried in other places. Otherwise why go in the first place?! Erika delights you with her own creations. I’ll start with dessert! Lychee ice cream or sorbet, not sure of the category but it was simply a real surprise- Order it! The Lexi sandwich, a must! Mary roll, yummy garlic crumbles on it. The 100 Roll, another must. The squid squeezers, only here & yes please! The seaweed salad, because you gotta get your greens and hers is great! A couple of items did not get photographed because the excitement took over. It’s a small place and popular so there is a long wait. It’s worth it. The service is friendly and Erika is the cutest young lady working hard behind the sushi counter. She’s only open for lunch and doors close at 5:45pm. Good for her that she’s made her own work terms! I’d be there more frequently if I lived closer so it’s a treat and a trip to go but oh so worth it!

This is what you call a hidden gem. The sushi dishes were delicious. Fish tasted fresh and the service was really good. The green tea cheesecake made in house was the highlight dish for me. Can’t wait to go back.
