Masala Kraft is a great little Indian restaurant near downtown Lindsay. Great food, easy parking and very friendly service.
High quality well presented meal, in a cute Indian diner mash up style ambience. Will definitely return. The breads (butter naan and butter roti) were excellent and had to stop myself just filling up on those. The dal tadka was also excellent with depth of flavour and ideal texture, not too watery nor too thick. The lamb vindaloo and lamb Rogan Josh were very very similar in flavour however the vindaloo was more flavorful and true to form with no potato (vindaloo traditionally should not contain potato). Would order this again but in super hot as the hot level wasn’t as hot as our personal preference. Butter chicken was also good and creamy and sweet, we normally have mild but I ordered it medium which was perfect. My wife thought the aloo matar was nice but too sweet, I liked it. I was also big fan the chili chicken and the chili garlic momos! We enjoyed all this with an ice cold coke and cheetah beer.
A couple of asks… smaller bite size pieces of meat. The butter chicken pieces were huge, cut them a little smaller. Would like to see a tomato lamb curry like a lamb madras or even a keema lamb curry on the menu, so hope the restaurant sees this 😉

We ordered the chili chicken, fried rice, and chicken biryani. The dishes seemed quite simple, lacking the rich flavors of authentic recipes. However, they might appeal to local preferences. The pricing was decent, and the portion sizes were generous.

The food was great! We went as a family of five and really enjoyed our time. The dishes were tasty, and the staff were very kind, friendly, and always smiling. They checked on us often to make sure everything was going well, which made the experience even better.
We ended the meal with a cheesecake — the portion was generous and delicious. Prices are reasonable, and overall, it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian cuisine and good desserts!

Masla Kraft in Lindsay, Ontario is an easily the best Indian food in the Kawartha Lakes area! We just got their take out for the first time and it was a 10/10.
The Goat Biryani was wildly tender. We also got the Butter Chicken, basmati rice, and Samosas and everything was fantastic.
The spice is authentic and serious! You should probably size down on your usual heat level

I’ve been coming here consistently the last 1.5 years and have only ever received fantastic service! The service is always friendly, and the food is incredible. Easily the best spot in the Kawartha’s & favourite place for takeout.

I have ordered several times here at Masala Kraft in Lindsay and the food is good. What I appreciate the most is the food arrives hot and the flavor is all in the food. Each time I have ordered it is a success and I hope the Chef is always able to do what has been done which is make good food. Some dishes I am not familiar with so I like that it explains what it has in the menu. I ordered the Chicken Biryani and requested hot (spice level). It is really good and very tasty. I would recommend to order. I have included pictures. I also enjoy their Mango Lassi. Try the food and drinks it’s really good. I order by Door Dash as you can select spice levels but on UBER Eats there is no option for spice level so hopefully that gets added in the app.
