It’s a good.Place if all you are getting is ice cream But if you want a milkshake I would suggest getting a freal Or whatever they are from Crosby’s.Because they are by far better The first 2 times I went. I got a chocolate and a vanilla malt. And realized they were using Is soft serve ice cream So I thought that.Was the reason they were so bad And today.I decided To get a peanut butter cup milkshake.And it was just as bad If not worse, at least the soft serve. Was somewhat thick.This peanut buttercup is basically a Really cold chocolate milk. And then not to mention their largest are laughable Definitely.A waste of money I will still be going because my girlfriend likes. The cotton candy ice cream.

The ice cream was really good but the workers were very rude. The lady who took my order has her back turned to me and when I said excuse me she was snippy and didn’t want to take my order. Then the girl who handed me my ice cream gave me the wrong size so I politely said that I had ordered a medium and then she snapped back at me saying that the ticket said baby so I told her I would pay the difference and she has turned her back on me until I went and got my mom to talk to her.

Always a must when you are in town. Their ice cream is awesome and a great selection. I had the peanut butter chip and the chocolate peanut butter. Both were delicious. Service was really great too.
My only suggestion would be to put umbrellas up on the picnic tables for some shade.

Update as of 2025: I have been having an issue with having my order taken correctly. The first time I had to repeat myself several times because the girls were to busy laughing instead of cooperating to get orders taken and quickly served as they were busy. The second time I was there, which was just today, a boy took my order and suprise suprise he asked for my order a few more times as he was to busy laughing and flirting with the girls. So he got part of my order wrong.
I get having students or kids with “summer jobs” but teach them to keep it professional and to learn a thing or two about work harassment.
If I have the same issue more I will change it to a 1 star, if it seemed to have changed I may conisder leaving a 5 star

Had not been here in years, but really enjoyed our return.
Aside from the fact that all ice cream has gotten ridiculously expensive, Double Dips is reasonably priced for hand serve.
We splurged and got all fancy treats including a sundae, cyclone, and banana barrel.
Despite the fabulous weather, it was relatively quiet when we stopped by so the young ladies working had our order ready lightning fast.
Everything we got was well made and delicious.
All the staff was friendly and very much hustling to help customers out.
Based on how much we enjoyed this visit, we will surely return soon.

A great old fashioned ice cream place with excellent ice cream! Their ice cream taste like ice cream used to taste. The soft serve is wonderful. Their prices are very reasonable – an added bonus. The bigger places just do not compare. Definitely worth the stop!
