First time visiting the area and we chose this place, custome service is top teir , when you first come your greeted and told sit anywhere . Our waiter was so sweet and patient with us . Food was fresh and hot , a little salty but its nothing the cook cant fix. We had the fried pickles , cheese sticks. Bourbon grilled chicken, steak, salmon and the chicken bacon ranch flat bread.. eveything was great. They also have happy hour , live music and karaoke . Definitely will be coming back

I felt the need to post this. I travel pretty much the entire Eastern United States. I spend about 150 days a year on the road. Usually I’m in the same places. Rarely do I end up in a place that I’ve never been or heard of. Tonight I did. And I’m so glad I did. According to my Google timeline I have been to over 3, 052 different cities across the United States. This is definitely at the top of my list of a small town that made you feel welcome that was just absolutely cool and everybody seems so nice and polite. And this little spot is by far one of the coolest places and nicest spots I’ve ever been. The small town vibe in the entire place is great. But this spot was literally just awesome. Out of all of the places I’ve been over the last 20 years traveling, I landed here and I’m so glad I did because you are definitely one of my favorite spots.

I absolutely love The Strand Bistro and Chophouse! The food is always incredible—I’m hooked on their burgers, and the bacon-wrapped shrimp is out of this world. If I’m ever going to splurge on pizza, this is definitely where I go.
The staff is so friendly and welcoming—some even remember me by name, which always makes my day. They also bring in great live bands! I’m not usually big on dancing, but the atmosphere here is so inviting that I always feel comfortable joining in.
And don’t miss the outdoor area—it’s perfect on cooler nights. Great food, great people, and a great time every time I come!

This is a great place to grab lunch or dinner. We came in between; late lunch or early dinner. We ordered the burger with sweet potato fries, and the chopped steak over mashed with gravy, with fried green beans! Wow! What a delicious home cooked southern meal! It was served hot, cooked just right, and we did not wait very long. Melva, their Senior Server, was top notch! She was on top of things; super attentive — greeted us, very friendly, always checking in with us to make sure we had what we needed, and so down-to-earth. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked through the door. We will visit again when we come back to the area, and ask for Melva specifically. I recommend you try this restaurant! They were having a live band later in the day on the this particular day, (Friday).

1/14/26. Dinner was excellent. Salmon was cooked to perfection. The Mac n cheese was very good. Broccoli was steamed perfectly. My husband had the chopped steak. It was cooked just as ordered. We never tried the fried green string beans before, we enjoyed them. Callie our server was attentive, informative and served us with a smile. We will be back and will request Callie as our server. Thank you for a enjoyable dinner experience here in Jesup.

This is a great place for any type of food you are looking for. They have bar food up to steak or chicken dinners AND PIZZA! They have a full bar too. The inside is really neat with original brick walls. It’s on the main street in Jesup, and which is a quaint little town.
I had the sirloin steak dinner and my wife had the burger. My steak was BIG and perfectly cooked. My wife actually said that the burger was the best burger she has had in a long time. If you’re hungry, you cannot go wrong with this place.

Visiting my daughter today and we had the pleasure of eating here. The food was excellent. I had the chophouse burger and my daughter had strawberry salad with salmon. Our waitress was Melva and she was great! Very attentive and friendly and definitely a credit to the restaurant. Wonderful experience.

Kim and her trainee Gabby were beyond helpful and friendly. Crack Chicken is a must try. Just saw that Wednesday night is karaoke night so I will definitely be back. Perfect spot for date night any day of the week. Great atmosphere.

High hopes…dashed. Tried to overlook our seemingly very new waiter but in the end he only compounded the disappointment. Wine was fresh and the margarita was good. Would have ordered another round but the food and waiter issues depressed the mood. Salads came out at the same time as the entrees. Had to ask a second time to get my coke. Better half’s $28 steak, ordered medium, was way undercooked. Sent it back and still was less than medium rare, and they forgot to replace the baked potato when the steak was returned. My $30 steak was slightly undercooked yet was still dry and taste like I imagine one of those discount trucks selling steaks in parking lots do. Asked for Worcestershire if they had it. New waiter checked and said they only had A1 and drum roll…malt vinegar. Doubt he knew what I was asking for or that malt vinegar isn’t a steak sauce. The waiter was very nice and polite but not quite ready for the job. Nice interior and atmosphere and we luckily sat on the side away from the loud live performance. Sadly won’t be in a hurry to try a second time.

What is happening to this place? Granted, I ordered doordash but not a single thing was correct. I paid extra for things. It was freezer burned Artichoke dip, slopped all over the imside of a walmart bag and the 1 piece of bread that I paid for EXTRA bread was inedible. Hard as a rock. So im left with tortilla chips and fried green beans when I ordered the sauted side. I used to order from here all the time. Maybe dining in is better but dont recommend for doordash. Not worth the money.
