Sadly, we will not be eating here anymore. This place has lost not only my business, but a couple of friends of mine. The food is “ok” most of the time, however the price for the food when it’s not , “ok”, is outrageous! This place is price gouging their food. Never again. Good ridden!!

We ordered food here earlier today. The only thing that was close to being edible was the fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken was so dry and hard that it could not be eaten. The Szechuan chicken didn’t have any chicken in it. It was a plate of vegetables that looked and smelled like hot garbage. My dog refused to eat the chicken. The manager told me if i came back they would make it again. I i live 20 minutes away. Do not waste your time or money eating here

Food was great, quick service, good people working. However the women has three bruises on her face not sure what that’s about. Anyways, the chicken on a stick is amazing. Place could use some touch ups but other than that pretty great.

Today I went back and was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp fried rice was #delicious. DELICIOUS. I am savoring every forkful.
The rice had eggs, onions, green onions, carrots, and peas. I hope this becomes the typical recipe for their (shrimp, chicken, beef, pork, and vegetable) fried rice.
If you’ve been to Panda Express off Cleveland Hwy (Varnell area) and had their fried rice….this recipe can either compete or turn out to be the better tasting recipe.

This is hands down the worst chinese food I’ve ever eaten. I ordered a dish that was so salty no one could have eaten it. Total slop. And the restaurant is dirty. I will NEVER go here again, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

We live 5 min from Panda House… but we have little desire to give them a 3rd chance.
So… we tried Peking Express. Better than Panda House. Best we have had in Dalton thus far. We got 3 entrees: Szechuan Beef, Orange Chicken, sweet & sour pork. Spring rolls, egg rolls, fried gyoza dumplings and egg drop soup.
5 stars for dumplings and orange chicken. 4 for egg drop. The rest was just okay. Spring rolls mushy inside, eggrolls flavor just “meh”, spice on beef szechuan was still sorta sausage like???- weird reoccurring flavor in Chinese food in Dalton.
Will try again. Orange chicken, dumplings and egg drop soup are a good “fix” for cravings in Dalton.
This place is a 4 for Dalton. We will order again. Definitely would drive 20 min for Peking when we seriously live 5 min from Panda House.

Love this place best Chinese food in dalton. Me and my family have ate here ever since I was little, 30 years. This family owned and operated restaurant always serves fresh hot delicious food. The plates are packed full. We love the noodles, rice sweet and sour chicken, egg drop soup and the beef with broccoli. Those were our main go to meals but every is good.
