Really enjoyed experience! Food was delicious. I wish they had table side guacamole- maybe in due time…
Pomegranate margarita was the best I’ve ever had!

Our waitress Cheyenne was attentive and friendly. My wife loved the veggie fajitas. I thoroughly enjoyed the paella, which was cooked perfectly… shrimp, scallops, lobster, mussels all perfect. Spicy mint margarita was delicious. We will definitely be back.

We have been coming here since they opened. We’ve always been so impressed with the service and food. Everything is SO good and comes out so fast. My husband loves their margarita. I get steak fajitas every time. We have been several time for lunch as well and their lunch specials are great.
This is a true family run business, the owners have been here every time we eat here. Tonight the owner was cooking all the food. We love this restaurant and will be coming back for sure! Highly recommend!!

The BEST authentic Mexican food in Sarasota County! They have really good drinks too…spicy margarita is a must! We’ve been there 3 times in the past 2 months & have bought family with us. Between us all we’ve tried so many things on the menu and not one single thing disappoints! The servers make you feel like family too! I strongly encourage you to try this place. You won’t regret it!

My girlfriend and I ate here today (Saturday afternoon) and got 2 $5 margs, my girlfriend had their brisket tacos, and I got a combination plate with rice, beans, a chicken enchilada and a chicken taco and when I tell you this is the BEST Mexican food we’ve both had in awhile I mean it! I wish we would’ve caught our servers name but she was the only one there and sooooo sweet and attentive! 10/10 recommend! Over all was amazing from the ambiance, service, and food!

Tried this place not long after it opened last year and was not impressed, but decided to give it another try – came away disappointed again. The place is small and there is no real atmosphere. The happy hour house margaritas for $5 were good (although the server wasn’t sure if they were doing happy hour). When asked about the special written on a chalkboard at the door, she said she wasn’t sure if they were doing it, because they “sometimes stop at noon” (they were). The chorizo queso we ordered was good, as was the fresh salsa. The tortilla chips were stale, as were the tortillas in my wife’s lobster tacos (and, there were shell pieces in the taco). I had the two enchiladas, and you pick which protein you want – each protein has a price. I asked if I could have one beef and pork enchilada, which she said I could. But, when I got the bill I saw I was charged double, because I ordered ‘two proteins’ – but if I had ordered the same protein for each enchilada I would only have been charged for one. Doesn’t make sense. The enchiladas were tasty, but while the beef enchilada was juicy, the port enchilada as dry. They also charged a fee for using credit cards, so it was about $4 more to use my card (I never carry much cash). All in all it seemed like they weren’t trying very hard, and I really wanted to like this place.

Ordered takeout from here the other night! Highly recommend. The steak chimichanga was amazing! Steak was extremely tender. Very tasty. Also got chips and queso. Best queso I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back!

Very good food, including probably the best chips and salsa I’ve had in Sarasota. Tacos and mole enchiladas were solid. Service is ok. However, it’s very pricey. Moreover, I have to knock another star off for the brunch situation. They do not (yet) have waffles, toast/French toast, grits, or potatoes. This means that about 1/3 items on the brunch menu are not yet available. If you don’t have them, please don’t include them on the menu! We got very excited for Tres Leches French Toast, only to find they didn’t even offer it. That’s a big miss. Finally, despite the restaurant name, the tequila selection is not very good. They only have maybe 10 bottles that I saw, and nothing too special.

Food was good until the dishwasher decided to use the men’s room. Dropping poopys and then cleats open the bathroom door to air out into the dining room?
Really – Who does that?
We left and waited outside to pay the bill.
The poopy smell was horrendous!
Food was awesome until that happened!
We will re-visit but sit on other side.

I think we went on a bad night, dunno. Wife had a seafood dish and she said it was ok. I had a burrito plate and it wasnt terrible, but nothing to get excited about. Service was pretty slow although only 3 tables were being served. No real beer selection and even then they ran out after I ordered just one. 3 beers, a burrito and a seafood plate was $80 tip included. Not really impressed. Probably wont return. Maybe its a local thing for tourists.
