Tonight 3 of us were in search of ice cream after dinner. We found Graeters in Carmel and thought we would try it, none of us had ever been in. The store was cute, we were greeted by some sweet employees who were friendly and helpful. We got our ice cream, paid and sat down. As we were seated and eating our ice cream, behind us seemed to be a manager (possibly 2) sitting at a table talking to employees and doing employee reviews. The store was busy and most tables were full of people. The manager was giving performance reviews to employees during the 20-30 minutes we sat there. I completely felt horrible for some of these young kids getting these reviews done out in front of everyone. The managers voice traveled and you could hear everything. I am all for performance reviews being done but not on a busy Saturday night in front of customers. Great ice cream, great staff, management team— not so great.

I had the sweetest experience at the brand new Graeter’s Ice Cream location in Westfield, Indiana! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, but what truly made my visit special was the amazing young woman Olivia S who helped me at the counter. She was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely happy to be there, which made such a difference. You could tell she truly cared about giving great service and making sure everyone left with a smile. She took her time explaining flavors, offered thoughtful recommendations, and treated every customer with warmth and respect. It’s rare to see service that feels so sincere and joyful, especially at a brand new location. Combined with Graeter’s incredible ice cream, it made for a perfect experience. If you’re in or around Westfield, do yourself a favor and stop by this location. Amazing ice cream, a beautiful new shop, and the kindest service you could ask for. This place is off to a fantastic start, and I can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely love this ice-cream cafe. I came here with my son and tried their lemon meringue ice cream. Yummy!! Son had strawberry chocolate milkshake and loved every sip. Then I came back with my hubby and could not resist to have the lemon meringue ice cream again while he had strawberry and double chocolate. Best ice cream I’ve ever had.

Drove down to Carmel to try this legendary ice cream place. It came to us as a raving recommendation from someone who had been there for a birthday a few weeks ago and hadn’t stopped talking about it. The taste didn’t exactly blow us off our shoes but it didn’t disappoint either.
I tried the sundae and everyone else in our group went with single scoops. I loved the brownie in the sundae the best. The ice cream isn’t overbearing with sweet and so you can actually taste the flavor and savor it longer. The store is open late on Friday and Saturday so you could consider swinging by some time if you’re in the neighborhood.

Mostly street parallel parking in full storefront public seating area display so get your skills on! You may have to park elsewhere and hike over.
Front room for ordering queues up and can block rear room seating area doorway, poor space and people flow.
Servers younger and courteous then we got to the cashier who acknowledged the gratuity with a low grunting noise, rudely turned away and more cheerfully greeted the next customer. Last impression poor service.
Back room seating area not visible to front room and as previously mentioned the doorway blocked by the ordering queue.
Few people sat indoors most go outside to the fountain weather permitting. Seating in front area has ordering queue winding through it which is disruptive.
First had Graeters ice cream In Cincinnati decades ago. There are many competitors now and differentiation becomes difficult. $30 for 5 servings.
