Okay I’ve heard A LOT about Doug’s so you know I had to give it a try.
First of all, no parking… bummer to have such a small lot for such a big place but what even can you do. Not really their fault. We ordered and the staff was VERY kind, prices are reasonable but a little on the higher end if you ask me.
Food came out fast which was great. The burger was bigger than I expected which was nice, I appreciate a large burger if I’m paying 10$ for it. The burger sauce is good but there wasn’t enough of it for my liking, felt like the sauce congregated in the middle instead of being spread across the bun. That’s fine. The fries were not very good and that was a bummer considering that I chose to pay extra for a combo to get their fries! They were nearly flavorless and lacked seasoning!!
Decent burger, great service, but didn’t WOW me like I expected. Also the pinball machine made it hard to hear my friend while we were in there, it was really loud. That’s ok though that’s not their fault.
Will have to return to try their happy hour.

It is nearly impossible to find a burger place that serves up freshly made burgers. Doug’s does. They give a generous and delicious fresh burger, on a real toasted bun, fresh lettuce, and garnish. The fries are delish as well, hot and just crispy yet tender.
My only change to the menu would be a burger for seniors that isn’t so big; I never thought I would say that about a hamburger restaurant! You will see me again, Doug. Terrific for B’ham. The picture shows the delicious homemade burg, just before I ate it…not frozen patty that is shoe leather, or tiny patty hidden in a huge bun.

Surprisingly great burgers and fries!
The entrance is a little lack luster but the seating area is warm and nice and the pin ball machines can be a bit loud but nothing to be frazzled about.
The menu is simple and to the point, 5 star!
Got spicy burgers and the Street Fries. They don’t skimp on the burger and ours were grilled so had that perfect crispy edge. They burgers were close to a smash burger, which are my favorite.
The fries were also 5 star. Will be ordering those again!
Overall, yes, go here and get a meal!

I had the Doug burger, figured I’d start with the name sake burger. I opted for the combo, fries and soda. Was a Friday, mildly busy, took a look at some nostalgic pinball game ( Terminator and Jurassic Park ) and had a short wait for my burger. House made bun, soft, yet firm enough to hold the burger without falling apart. Pickle chips on the burger, nicely melted cheese, ample caramelized onions, and a freshness that made me say “that’s a good burger!” The counter service and clearing my own table part i understand in this economic environment, would rate service higher if my order was taken at the table. The fries were ok, not remarkably, not bad. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants a really good burger. I returned after my 1st visit and will be returning again, many times. Money well spent!

Such a cool spot with a back bar and arcade. The food is hit or miss. The burgers are always delicious but I was disappointed by the chicken sandwich. I like my sauce to cover the whole bun. Breading was a bit dark, so I think mine got overcooked. The service tho is always nice tho.

Fun burger place with a nice casual vibe. You order at the counter and bus your own tables. We went on a Saturday night and it was medium busy. Our burgers took about 20 min. The reviews are mixed from our group varying from loved it, to just ok, to burger patties being too dry. The street fries were also way too salty. Some of us will be back.

It’s one of the best burgers in Bellingham!!! Great local burger joint. Ordered the original burger and their street fries. Both tasted great; I havent had a better burger anywherein town! Place is kept very clean, and the ordering was straightforward and simple. And we felt their prices were excellent, with generous portions of fries and the good size of their burgers. Excellent bang for your buck. Would highly recommend!!

The burgers were definitely larger than I thought they’d be, so that was a nice surprise! The service was fast and friendly. Burgers were good. Prices are great. Wish mine had a bit more of that nice crust that smashburgers are known for, but I would still come back here again for another yummy burger!!!

Front counter guy was a doll!!! Very attentive, I showed up about 20 minutes earlier then what I chose for my pickup order. Super cute place, parking wasn’t the greatest. They were pretty busy. Smaller Arcade, with a bigger one connected at the New deli! Fiancée RAVED about the buns, the didn’t split or mush prior, during or after eating the burger… quite impressive!! He got the spicy burger, I got the deluxe (?). Burgers weren’t greasy what-so-ever!!! Fries were great as well. Want to go back to try the deli next door!!

An absolute banger of a burger for a decent price. So glad we made the detour for Doug’s, and can’t wait to come back! I had the spicy burger w/ jalapeños and did not regret it one bit. the jalapeños were grilled but retained just a bit of crunch, and the spice didn’t overwhelm an excellent patty. Love the fries, too!
