A strong harmony of flavors, this place delivers.
From the first bite, the Force was clearly with the kitchen. Everything we tried was delicious, but two standouts rose above the rest. The California Roll? According to my daughter, the best she has ever had—and I find no reason to challenge that judgment. The Beef Teriyaki and bonless spare ribs (aka – wolf meat) were equally impressive: tender, flavorful, and balanced just right. The Marlborough Roll brought bold, satisfying layers, and the Crab Rangoons were crisp, rich, and hard to stop reaching for.
That said, honest the Jedi must be. While the food was outstanding, the dining room itself was frigid where we were seated. I would estimate the temperature to be somewhere in the low-to-mid 60s. We weren’t alone—several diners nearby were still wearing hats and jackets while eating, which pulled a bit of comfort away from an otherwise excellent meal.
Warm the room a touch, and this place would be operating at full power. Until then, the food is absolutely worth returning for… though takeout may be the wiser path next time.

Food was delicious. Servers were attentive. Booth seating and table seating available. We sat at a round table which was very spacious for our party of four. It was in a smaller room divided from the larger seating area, which had a few other small tables in it. It provided a cozier space, and it wasn’t noisy/loud so we could have a conversation comfortably. Overall, a lovely dining experience. Would return in a heartbeat!

Very interesting restaurant and not at all what we expected but we were still pleasantly satisfied! This is the family home. We parked in the lot off the road to the left of the building and entered through the front porch door. We were the only guests there at lunchtime which felt a bit odd but we wanted to see for ourselves. I thought it was the wrong door because it led to a room and hallway that looked like someone’s living quarters. We were greeted by a friendly hostess. I asked if we came in the wrong door and she said either way is fine. So, come to find out, there is a back lot and back entrance that comes into one of the main dining areas. The atmosphere could use some work – could be a bit cleaner, brighter, with some general upgrades. BUT, THE SUSHI WAS FABULOUS! It was my husband’s birthday and he loves sushi, so we wanted to try something new. The miso soup was excellent. The salad was basic. The service was great! Some more customers came in while we were eating so that made it a little less awkward. Overall, we would go back!

The food was good, but not spectacular. The service was acceptable, if not steller. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, very informal, more like a big family dinner than a restaurant. While I’m not doing back flips over the experience, I will certainly eat here again.

I’ve heard good things about this place and took me a few years to get to it but I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a sushi deluxe and the fish pieces were extremely small, the rice fell apart every time I dipped it in soy sauce. They served some sort of wasabi unlike anything I’ve ever seen and it lacked flavor. I won’t be returning.

Decent Asian-American restaurant. The chicken fried rice was excellent. It was a bit sad as a sit-down restaurant though. An old house turned into a restaurant, not busy enough to entertain the staff. The fish tank was depressing. Several koi nibbling on eachother in a cloudy tank. One seemed to be missing its eyes due to predation from its tank-mates. I don’t mean too be too hard on the place. The food was good enough that I absolutely plan to order takeout in the future, I just don’t intend to dine-in at this disheartening location again.

Annie and her husband James along with her staff do an outstanding job. The food is always delicious whether it be sushi, Chinese dishes or something special they whip up to your taste. The service also is wonderful. Besides all this, they are just wonderful people. Enough can’t be said!

I ordered some chicken fingers on 11/26. While the pieces were large, about 75% of it was dough. They also tasted semi-undercooked.
