First time here.
This meal (two people, one for hibachi and one for sushi) was dreadful.
Apparently they bought this from a beloved family with high quality food. That family is gone, the man here cannot cook.
Truck stop sushi would be far better than what we were served, including the burnt end of a shrimp tail.
Terribly overcooked chicken, almost no vegetables with hibachi (I ordered extra).
The people we saw walking by the windows were the lucky ones.
We paid $36 for two garbage meals, and there’s just no excuse for that. Basic hibachi can be produced well quite easily.,

This was my first visit to Kochi The food was delicious, and the portion was large. I will definitely return to this location.

It was very good when the previous owners were there. The new owners are trying, but Kochi has lost its essence. I ordered tempura appetizers, and they were literally swimming in oil, nothing like before. It was a disappointment. The yum yum roll was my favorite, and now they put “Valentina” sauce on it, also losing the essence of what it used to be. It’s sad; this place was my favorite. Be careful when ordering through Uber, as your order may be wrong and there may be nothing you can do about it.

The waitress was polite but couldn’t give much information on the dishes. I asked the difference between the hibachi noodles and the lo mein. She said it was no difference except the size of the noodles. My noodles were plain with just sauce and 6 shrimp. We had lemon pepper wings that were good but the teriyaki wings were not cooked all the way.

Kochi is like the great clips of sushi. It’s pretty good, somewhat decently priced, and gets the job done. However you don’t quite have the experience of a traditional sushi place, which is why you see lower reviews. This is a place that is very evidently focused on takeout orders, as even dine-in dinners get served in to-go containers.

I received a Grubhub credit from my employer that was set to expire today. I decided to order Kochi because I was nearby.
The credit was for $15 and I still owed almost $3. If I paid for this out of my own pocket, I would have driven back to get a refund.
The vegetables were $6.50. There was absolutely NO taste and I honestly thought that and a 10 year old could have done a better job.
The sushi was $9 and the roll is so small!
Prices are high and the quality is very similar to a $9.99 buffet.

The food here is generally disappointing. We’ve only ever ordered takeout/delivery, but the rolls are so small for the price you pay. It’s not the freshest, nor is it flavorful. However, this is the only sushi place that delivers near us and we can’t help but hope we’ll have a better experience. We also ordered calamari and it was inedible. The calamari was cold/semi-frozen while the breading was soggy and the sauce it came with was not good at all. Only giving a star because they follow order notes. I can’t recommend this place.

Idky this picture uploaded so many times but I was not satisfied with the food here! I paid $8 for this plate. The fried rice was half cooked & they gave me what looked like a child’s portion of vegetables. Not to mention the spring roll was COLD..not warm..like it had been sitting out all morning.
On the plus side the service was good but in my opinion there are better places to eat.
