It is a great little place. Employee at the cashier was very kind. Parking is limited so this is more of a carryout/pickup location instead of a sit-down spot. Decently priced and had no issues with the food whatsoever.
Just as a reminder, these are likely smaller franchises, sometimes family run. Just like you have an “outside” voice that you dont use “inside”, dont use your “mcdonalds” attitude with “local, smaller” businesses.
At the same time, the owner/manager should be open to reasonable suggestions from clients in order to retain their business. Word of mouth can be what sustains or what hinders a companys success.
We also split a family combo that came with fries, onion rings, and a side salad. The fries were golden and crisp, and the onion rings had a light, crunchy batter that didn’t overpower the sweetness of the onions. The salad was surprisingly fresh—a nice reprieve from all the fried goodies. Service was quick and friendly; the cashier offered recommendations when I hesitated, and our order was ready in under ten minutes.
For takeout, Touchdown Wings is a solid choice: generous portions mean I ended up with leftovers for lunch the next day. Prices felt fair for the amount of food, especially if you’re feeding more than one person. The dining area is basic—nothing fancy—but that didn’t matter once I bit into those wings. If you’re in Smyrna and in the mood for flavorful wings (or even a gyro or Philly steak), Touchdown Wings delivers on taste, quantity, and friendly service.
